Is there an normal ordinary thing on the scale of an unbelievable world? It is difficult to see what Christians, etc. due in the name of kindness!

I try and express it but it is irrationally received! Folks say it is strange observation compared to their nebulous visions ... smokers? These devices appear strangely in heated myths ...

Wishing you a 'good' meeting with your doc. Waiting just sucks.

The appointment with the oncologist was good. She can be scary. She wasn't scary at this appointment. She was chill, professional and matter-of-fact. Those are good traits at a cancer centre. I've had bloodwork to see if I have an enzyme that will process the drug she wants to prescribe. I know two people who have been on that drug for a few years and who are doing well. Looks like you'll be stuck with me for awhile yet.

How are you doing?

Edit: I see you're KayTheCurler again. Does that mean you're home?

Good morning! Finally the first big snowfall in this vicinity has come, and is still to come some more. Such fun. Happy shoveling, to those of you who live in this area. For weather discussions around the country, good appointments with doctors, wondering how previous generations got through times of poverty, those on cruises who miss all the snow fun, for other ideas and thoughts that pop up, we gather in spirit round the Coffee Cart for conversation and community. All is ready, come on in and join in!

As long as no one mentions the ultimate alien things like God (everything that is beyond human comprehension)! How will we ever lead ... some old salt said: "learn yourself" ... and off they went! Autonomy personified!

I have been enjoying using Whatsapp for seeing my friends in Germany. Didn’t realize until just recently that I can use it now that I have an IPhone, it didn’t work on my IPad before. Planing to go to Germany in September for three weeks. Last time I was there was 2020, just before Covid got worse.

Good morning to all you lovely people. I am indeed at home (Yay). but too tired to post much yesterday. Went to bed early and had a very restful nine hour sleep.

We had been told that I had at least another day in the hospital but was rushed out shortly after. I heard on the grapevine that there was a Covid outbreak going on, so that might be why I was sent home. I was supposed to meet with three different specialists today - and those chats are still pending. Plus a chat with a pharmacist to update the meds, but that can happen locally once they are open. Oh well,, I have had some practise at waiting.

Most of the staff were totally amazing as they cheerfuly moved me from place to place.for xrays, CT's , back to bed and so on. I decided my mission was to TELL them how awesome they were - and I hope I caused some smiles. The nurses seemed to enjoy it when I shared my observations. ''Specialists can decide what needs to happen but they need the nurses to figure out how to make it happen! I have no idea how they managed to keep track of so many drains, electrical connections, etc! plus ensuring that I was as comfy as possible.
My poor hubby got home feeling really tired - so mostly I think, we will only do th emost necessary things today. He is still sleeping. We have lots of frozen, healthy foods so meals will be simple and easy! Last night we had beef stew.

I've been thinking of you Northwind and hoping your treatment plan is effective.

I'm glad you were treated well at the hospital Kay. I hope you get some answers from the specialists.

Apparently it can get complicated when you don't fit the normal and expected pattern. I got one diagnosis and successful treatment (Pneumothorax - or collapsed lung). Now they are chasing the reason/s for anemia and cough headaches that don't seem to be presenting in typical ways. It is reassuring to have a family doctor who is keeping on top of things plus several specialists who seem to be finding my circumstances interesting!

The hospital does have a Covid outbreak, I read it on the news.

And I am just sitting on the verandah of my stateroom right now. Apparently, it takes two days at sea to get from Costa Rica to Cozumel. Hearing that winter finally showed up at home. We have a neighbour with a blower lined up to look after our property. Hope he has lots of gas stashed away (actually, I could have given him my half-full Jerry can form the mower).

Good morning! Getting home from hospital a day early, avoiding further infection; sitting on the cruise ship; discovering one can use WhatsApp; making themed gifts for a birthday; we cover a lot of territory here, for sure. The Coffee Cart is open to host your conversations. Chairs are comfy, cushions are fluffed, Snacks are ready. Come on in and join in the fun!

Good morning, Red. I am sitting down to a cup of green tea I got from my Korean neighbours for Christmas. Its called wedding tea and tastes super delicious. Looks like they have better tea than we do.
We had a bit of snow dusting the landscape- after a night of freezing rain, just enough to make it look nice, but not enough for snowshoeing.

Good morning everyone. We do cover a wide range of topics here - fascinating sometimes.
Does anyone want to talk about Disability tax credits? A doctor suggested that I should apply for Disability and we find ourselves knowing NOTHING about the topic. What, if any, would be advantageous about this? Are there any negatives we should know about?

Yes we cover a wide range of topics for sure! I always enjoy the virtual baking when it shows up.

Could we use a few more blankets? I can provide a few with a 70's vibe. I still enjoy crocheting those Granny squares.

I have some knit blankets too provide too.

I went to my cancer support group yesterday morning. After the meeting we went to a new Korean restaurant for lunch. It was delicious.
