I just came back from the city. There was lots of traffic. Crazy.
Today I had an infusion at the hospital. I'm wearing my orange Every Child Matters shirt. I passed several friendly and smiling Indigenous people on my way to the clinic. I didn't give it much thought. When I was waiting my turn, and Indigenous nurse passed by me and complimented my shirt. I said it was an important issue. She gave me the thumbs up. I then realized why the Indigenous people I passed today were so friendly.
I also have to do some homework. There's a beautiful piece of Indigenous art above the door of the main entrance of the hospital. I've never seen it before.
