We were probably last there in 98. We attended the Celtic College for the week prior to the festival and stayed in the old hotel on the square. It was a good time.

Hm. Must keep that in mind next time I am up there. We went there a few years back.
 
Good morning! Raining here right now. As we celebrate Celtic Roots, memorable restaurants and beaches, as we go through family health issues, and prepare for an extended recovery period, as all the other events --good, bad, and neutral occur-- may we find time to gather round the Coffee Cart in spirit, for conversation, community, and hot beverages. All is ready.

It is a tough journey ... but no one ever listened to me! Thus in many views it is part of the ignored ... naivete personified or characterized in a negative aspect! Like being up against it ... con science a blinding occasion on wakening to the other side ... my physicians say there is no such thing ... and thus Mystery Disease ... and prion-ism ... a thing feint in RS even appearing as Vegas disorder ... trigeminal offshoot ... with ties to pituitary axis ... too much emotional-intellectual need and rejection of Irrational Exuberance --- Robert Shiller?

Heated be*ve rages? ... energetic f(loe) ... they rest in vessels ... grails? Further metaphor ... if god, the word, is like that could this go on and on? Why those stuck dislike the ongoing sectors ... beyond hoos?
Os um ... then the Os are said to be bones of the myth!

We think of family members with health issues, of Maui, of other places threatened by fire and smoke, of feather dusters, and of those who actually use them; as well as other topics that arise. Mrs. M has a dish she does with eggplant and zuccini. The recipe called it Sicilian but she's put some Chinese twists on it as she is prone to doing. Have not had it in a while, though. If they are too big for ratatouille, though, probably too much for it as well.

Not enough freezer room. However, a nice batch of zucchini fritters used half a good sized marrow (which is the official name for zucchini gone ripe) and was very tasty as a sort of zucchini pancake (didn't use too much oil; would have used even less on a proper burner/pan, ***grrrr****). With sour cream, nice. No leavening at all in the batter, though, so I may mess with that a bit.

I have lived most of my life with a gas stove. An electric one is just such a huge challenge to me that a slight lack of 'proper' cookware (like properly seasoned cast iron) just tips me over the edge. And it's not level, and all the labels are worn off and there's a wyrd burner front right that is different than the others...
