Room For All

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

I haven't really been up and moving early enough most days for anything too caffeinated. Mostly been rooibos for me recently, plus a hibiscus berry blend in tea bags I was gifted. I think it's time to give some of the steeping items and mugs themselves a bit of a deep clean.

I have now moved on to oolong with a shot of half and half. I discovered "creamy oolong" via a blend at David's and then realized I can get the same effect by brewing a plain oolong and adding the cream myself. :sneaky:

I'm going to brew a cup of Irish Breakfast now. I just came from a nice lunch with a couple other women, one who has been told her cancer is sleeping. (Yay). Now to hopefully finish a sleeve.

Bright blue sky here with strong winds. Most of the glacier on the roof over our back porch slid off this afternoon, making quite a noise. Tried snowshoeing but it was difficult. The snow is almost slush in places.

I went to my 2nd Warm Water Workout today.
Pool is quite warm (96 to 98 F)
This instructor had us working harder.
Because it is afternoon and was added recently, there are less people in the session.

It was good

I've been trying to exercise a little more lately...a couple of walks a day, my regular stretches and about 15 minutes on the exercise bike. But today my knee is protesting. Grrr...just when I am trying to do something positive for my body.

Slow & steady Nancy! Sounds like you're doing well ... keep up the positive routines, but maybe your knee is asking for a bit more gentleness.

Some concerning news from my parents today, wait and see what some further testing will show for my dad. Parking system for the hospitals here have changed, my mom already hates the parking at that hospital. Hoping timing works out easily enough between my treatment and paying on the app for them.

Good morning! We should expand our tea offerings for those who drink tea. Along with weather and exercise routines, family health and March Break storms, using coffee as a sort of mouthwash, and all the other things that come up in conversation, we gather once again in spirit round the Coffee Cart. All is ready, come and join in.

Is neuroplasty impossible in psyche determined to remain in a hard state? Thus the generation of an un learned domain!

Should we be ignorant of such levels of sentient matters? Thus things said to be abysmal ... very deep in deed ... little thought! depressing on the mental scales ...

Is mindlessness a peak condition? Perhaps up to the autonomous that finds themselves anonymous and thus unseen things ... vacant vision Aries! Clearly ... neuroblasts? Like a Frozen breath ... kohl'd -ite 's? Dite 's the word ...

Never deter a determinant ... just observe --- some archetypical philosopher on doing no physical harm, be omniscience!

Thus second vues 'll du ... as extant from thermoplastic ... that hard hind vision from the cheeks of Bottom ... a dramatic line!

Good morning. I have nothing on the schedule today. I'm going to drop into the vet to see if our pup has lost weight. She seems slimmer so that's good. She gained 4 kilos in the past year. Gaining almost 10 pounds in a year is not good for her. She should weight 55 pounds or so. Laundry might get done today. Or not. Coffee is definitely on the schedule.

It can get quite frustrating when trying to balance the need to exercise with avoiding setting off pain somewhere in the body. I hear you. It seems to be important to listen to what your body is telling you.

Wearing a knee brace today...I still walked to Mom's to help her with her exercises so over 5000 steps as recorded by my cell phone. Mom is having a bad day...was very upset that she didn't remember what day of the week it is. She got her pills all messed up too. In an hour I bring her for a Nurse Practitioner appointment which always stresses her a little because she works so hard to remember it but asks many times, and then says...I don't know why I'm going, and I've never met her before. I try to encourage her to trust me, I'll remember to get her there on time.

An awesome day yesterday. Started with bible study, which is a highlight of my week, anyway. Then scooted out quickly, picked up my daughter, headed down to the City to see Hamilton. GREAT show. Rushed home (as we could, there was an accident on the 400 which detoured us), as it was a spring roast beef take out dinner at the church, and the Big Guy had picked up our dinners for us, so we opened a bottle of wine and ate GREAT take-out together (perfect roast beef, gravy, mashed, veg, coleslaw, bun and homemade apple pie).

When I was driving to work yesterday after we had more than expected snowfall, all I could think of was that I wanted to get out there and snowshoe. So it turned out that work wasn’t too busy and I could take the rest of the day off after 11 am- here my snowshoe pics, this is the local golf course.

I saw Hamilton in a show online- just amazing!

Good morning! Friday has come! Happy St. Patrick's Day! As we think of exercise without overdoing it, physio appointments and knee braces, snow shoes, Hamilton and church dinners, let us gather round the Coffee Cart, in the nice, comfy Room furniture, for community and conversation. All is ready, come on in.
