Covid 19 Vaccine

Since April, I have observed a strange phenomenon here--the odd person actually still wearing a mask in grocery stores and banks! None of their employees wear masks any more. How typical is mask-wearing in Canada?
4 interesting facts about Washington state:
(1) Flu is now virtually unheard of. So conspiracy theorists claim that Flu is often misdiagnosed as Covid-19.
(2) People I know typically reject vaccination because they believe it alters DNA in a serious way. I know a geneticist who vehemently opposes this claim.
(3) No Washington residents have died from the vaccine.
(4) People here are constantly talking about "Covid fatigue" as a prime reason for the great drop-off in vaccinations in the past couple of months. Of course, we've had the Pfizer vaccine since early January.
Flu numbers are down as we are masking, washing hands and staying home. Very simple. So are colds.

Everyone other than antivaccers still wear masks in Ontario if within 6ft or in a building.

Ontario is definitely still heavily getting vaccinated. Covid fatigue exists of course but not impacting vaccination rates negatively. If anything, driving them up

Imagine a pummel of stone ... hard seed of man denying psyche in essence ... an aura passing? Resembles a Celtic Crucifer ... as fixation ...

Thus we hammer our way out ... subtle ways out of the big house ...

Not just WC.

Such followings spread ... viciously ... viscous when cold ... thus arrested thoughts as a tacky state! The metaphors are extensive ... even extant!

Black strap rules ... dem eire era ... thus it was mitigated ... the threshold! Closed with a hard fist ... light soude ... soused? Imagine a person inebriated on alien knowledge ... would they be despised for Eire gatherings?

In licit rules thought is declared illicit under Charlemagne's Order ... and all processors enter the fiery fray ... of burning words into available medium and means ... Ka Rig Maw ... kerygma? It is best if the powers keep the masses unknowing and thus enforced illiteracy ... especially in the free understanding nodes ... misunderstanding outings? They be OBI domains ... rare incidents ... generally unbelievable until you understand the innate enemy ... by then you're wasted! Archetype ...

Best served with oatcakes and essential oil ... from nuts and seedy attributes ... personality development?

One must construct a story to represent what is corporeally unseen ... demographic need ... kick in the ass to the accrued head man ... isolated from all alien intelligence ... strange nurturing?

Hint to the clueless. You don't wear a mask to care for yourself. You wear a mask as mechanical preventive care FOR OTHER PEOPLE.

So premature mask abandonment is not a sign of freedom, nor science. It's an indicator that you don't give a s**t about other people. And if the tidbits of American news I garner is accurate, that does seem to be a strong characteristic of the American psyche.

Other folks????

Is this a roving idiom in a world said to exist autonomously as they do not wish to support the other half?

The demiurge for self destruction given the poor understanding of the term self ... an IHCy thing in German where history was freely burned on a night where clearly past understanding was disposed. It is said the Romans did this to rewrite their past ... and 7 large libraries were wiped out as 7 unseen wonders ... thus we are blind to out past ... it all appeals to Roman Pantheons ... and folks rush to believe in empire! Is that a hard upper hand ... as carved in stone in some psyche ... imagine a lost greater power ... thought is like that ... in the light of a burning passion ... intelligence departs ...

The unseen and intangible god then presented mythology as a place to hide nothing but psyche items! Immaterial ...

Such conjurations can slip by us faster than a Jungian slider ...

I've lived here for 15 years and know many people, none of whom are pro-vax! When one of them or their loved ones gets the virus, their typical response is, "Well, that's the way they'll build up anti-bodies." I marvel that Ontario seems so much more sensible about this. Our Covid fatigue is expected to generate a masssive wave of Delta variant infections this Fall. Ontario's sober realism is shocking to me, but highly commendable.

Your explanation of the decline in Flu here strikes me as incorrect, given how few still wear masks.

Mentally masking is innately recommended ... to secure the truth out of sight and lines of vision ... forcing folks displaced from heave to begin thinking ... a psyche process said by many to be non sensical and non existent! There that's out there ... having risen from nothing ... that's me!

Immaterial understanding as spilt in a blind domain ... the glaring nebulae ... that few grasp as ideal Noos? Non relating illumination ...

If ignoring the complexity of the spectrum of light des "c" would one become a simple anima ... taking part in animism! Doolittle's domain ...

There there is the flip side animus' descendant domain as we chuckle until collapsing ... logical fallacy in lieu of the unrelenting urge to prove nothing exist ... when it appears the manifest of the story is a diminished proof to a point!

Some claim pointless opportunities ... so inhibition is gone ...

Professional virtue is also questionable due to missing realities! Holes in the discourse ...

Adding to my confusion about how some people with chronic respiratory illnesses may want to consider continuing wearing them. That's not where the advantage is really coming in. Missed the mark.

Mask wearing is happening in AB too. I do see the occasional person not. Often in areas where an employee isn't nearby. Plus the medical staff I see regularly are eating as my appointment is around lunch. They mask up when they go away from the desks.

I would say if one is wearing the right mask that doesn't let the virus get through (eg. 3 layers with a polypropylene layer in the middle), it would protect the person wearing it too.

There is evidence that wearing a mask does also protect the wearer.

Speaking of masks, BC requires the wearing of medical grade masks in health facilities. I have a box of masks for that purpose because I don't like changing masks in a health facility. Nanaimo hospital lets people wear the medical grade masks they are wearing provided they are clean etc. When arrived at the hospital here this morning I had to change masks. I discarded mine in a big bin of discarded masks. What a waste. Telling the "greeter" that my mask was clean and new served no purpose.

I have submitted my complaint to that health authority.

Ya know, that sort of policy cost my enviro-friendly sister one of her regular gigs this winter (although, she ended up with more lucrative gigs, in the end, but...) She drove school buses for quite a few years. Very competent driver in some hell-ish winter weather (she's on Georgian Bay). However, they mandated this fall that every driver would wear two clean disposable masks every day, which they provided. She wasn't willing to be a participant in disposing of some 400 masks over a school year (and they were unwilling to entertain her evidence about the safety and cleanliness of her own masks), so bowed out.

Oh wow, they aren't given out medical masks here. I haven't purchased any medical ones either.
I wonder if the problem there is it's too difficult to tell if it's medical or not? I think many people are unaware.

Last time I was at the hospital I just wore my cloth masks (good fit) and put the disposable one provided on over top. Prior I was using my disposables and letting them know they were knew, but the last time I felt like risk was higher so wanted that good fit.

I think the current evidence is way too limited to say hey if you has asthma, wearing a mask yourself is really helping you.

Except that it appears that oxygen saturation is decreased by, maybe 1 or 2% by wearing a mask. If 1 or 2% is going to cause you problems, maybe someone else should shop for you.

If a 1 or 2 percent drop is sats is going to cause you a problem, wearing a mask may be the least of your problems.
