What I admit is refreshing is that our PM is committed to not bashing the provinces; his words are "how can we help?". I like that.
I would prefer to see acknowledgement of the federal issues as to why things got behind. How can we help - sounds more like implying province is to blame than the federal government. Getting vaccines into the province isn't the province's responsibility. What about 'what can we do to fix some of the complications our delay has caused?"

Our area says there y run out of vaccines before they have given all the appointments required. It is just a cluster f*** on all levels

Alberta got 1/3 of all of it's vaccines so far on the weekend - today. We have used up more than 2/3. I know a lot of pharmacies just got shipments yesterday or today. 16+ with health conditions can book tomorrow and those who can get AstraZeneca can book now.

Exactly why I'm blaming Ford, not the feds. We're still stuck at people aged 70+...
In your area maybe. Middlesex-London dropped to 65+ (Yay! Mrs. M was booked within minutes of me seeing the announcement) and health units on the provincial booking system can take 60+ now. MLHU says they will probably start 60+ next week. Still no word on "at risk" (ie. me) but highest risk (organ transplant recipients, severe kidney disease, some others) are being booked through their treatment centres in Middlesex-London now.

Here's the latest news on the Astra Zeneca vaccine. They are now admitting that the vaccine can cause rare blood clotting but have yet to determine why:

So much compassion for the person elected to lead a difficult demos ... nothing can satisy them as they look out for more ... to do whatever to ... doing is our call sign as efficacy without a sense of alternate efficiency! Generally understood poorly ...

Understanding is way far from the scale of passions ...

The info about vaccines seems to change hourly. Ontario definitely needs to do people who are working. And fast

report today that 68% of outbreaks are in factories and plants.

Rapid changes ... yet folk declare all is fixed! Thus gods are ahead in the great conflict ... imagine ... shady abstracts!

Thus rattled bones in the story ... chatter?

Theyve known for months that factories were way ahead of LTC"s cases for Covid...should park their mobile vaccine units there. And many workers are commuters.

Interestingly the pharmacy map on the government site is colour coded via vaccine.
Shoppers drug mart still lists their information for 1973 and earlier for phase 2B not sure why. Will likely wait until Friday and if I don't have an appointment by then I may try the mass clinic online booking I guess I can always cancel the appointment.

I found out that Shoppers in my town only has Astrozeneca.....so I wont be getting it there. I will have to put my name on the list elsewhere for Phizer.
What Ive noticed with the Covid vaccines is that people are actually paying attention to whats in them and how they work.
The seasonal flu shot...not so much.

You're in Ontario, aren't you? Our pharmacies only have AZ right now. Pfizer and Moderna are going to the mass clinics run by hospitals and health units, mobile clinics doing care facilities, and that sort of thing. Or so it has been so far. I am hearing buzz about that changing now that there's a steady supply of Pfizer coming in.

And that is where I will be going.
My daughter has had her first phizer shot ,(37) but she is a health care worker. Stated shes had no side effects.

Good. Was talking to a co-worker and her parents had no issues with Pfizer beyond sore arms. With the drop to 60+ in most areas (65 here) I imagine I will be hearing from more personal contacts who have had shots.
