I tend to dictate in phrases and pause to think before completing the sentence. I've noticed lately that as I pause, a few words are added. Sometimes even a comma and the beginning of a new sentence will appear.
I've been blaming the Dragon for trying to read my mind and often getting it wrong.

I was on my phone and my phone keyboard has predictive typing built in (Google's Gboard). Computers generally don't have predictive typing unless.you have specific software. Even Word doesn't have it yet. So it probably is Dragon.
 
I was actually up early this today, shortly after five. I opened the drapes a bit and sat in the recliner in the living room with an afghan, looking east, and waiting for the morning to come. The skyline between the two neighbouring houses across the street was already turning red. I watched the feeder for hummingbirds but didn't see any this morning (they were active last evening), and glanced around the room as it grew lighter.
Suddenly at just about 5:35 it really brightened. Looking again at the window I could see the edge of the sun. It won't sell it again until 9:10 PM. Roughly 15 1/2 Hours of sunshine today. It might be interesting to know when the sun rises and sets in your area and how much sunshine you get. I expect those in Yellowknife get a lot more than we do.

It looks like a beautiful day with a light overcast and the sun looking delightfully between the clouds. A high of 17 (a bit low for shirtsleeves and was working hard).

My contribution for this for breakfast today is rhubarb and strawberries again. From the freezer - this years rhubarb is just about ready to pick so I have to make sure last years is eaten up.. .
 
Sitting in my home office working. Got a David's Cream of Earl Grey tea. It is breezy here. Otherwise, seems nice but they have us with a 40% change of showers and a risk of a thunderstorm. Radar is clear right now, though.
 
Newest factoid. If you've noticed weather report quality slipping, you're probably right. Turns out that a major source for metereological data is commercial aircraft; fewer of them, fewer data points, poorer predictions.

Happy early afternoon. I'm just about finished a cup of jasmine green tea, and need to get out to the yard. Possibly to clean eavestroughs.

Makes sense. There's concern poorly placed 5G antennas could be an issue, too, but since we don't have that in most of Canada yet, not a factor yet. However, now that Huawei has become a non-issue (Bell and Telus announced yesterday that they are both using a mix of Nokia and Ericsson, Rogers always has used Ericsson, and Videotron in Quebec went with Samsung), I imagine major cities might see it soon.

My son's employer has been involved in design and verification of chips for 5G gear including some used by Nokia so it's good news for them/him (he's worked on some of those projects).
 
Ah. Discussing the weather. Almost like every group of retired farmers meeting for morning coffee at the local diner, in every smallish town and village around. Solving the world's problems, then meeting 23.5 hours later to solve them again.
We may not solve the world's problems here, but we can supply the coffee, tea, etc. to fuel the discussion.

Be careful. I was taught never to use a repaired cup for hot liquids. Heat can soften the glue and or the handle break off spilling the hot liquid into your lap and causing burns.

If you can't part with your favourite cup, repurpose after repairing.

use it as a sugar bowl.

Plant an African violet in it.

Display on the windowsill or shelf

use it to hold loose change.

And many more.

Of course if it is a is a virtual cup, holding virtual tea or coffee, no problem.
 
So let us fill our virtual cups with warming bevvies; the coffee cart is up and running. Be careful with the cups; if there is, however, a mishap, there is virtual ice in the virtual kitchen for virtual burns, and a virtual First Aid Kit, too. Plus mops and brooms for cleaning up the mess....
