Wee birds on the north side of Fredericton fringes had a rough time in the storm ... trees toppling and bringing down powerlines and setting fires to houses ... but that's outside city limits! Thus that can be forgotten and denied ... unencompassed?
 
Time for my second coffee....I just happen to have muffins...oatmeal apple.

Right at my precise location, it appears as though nothing happened. Devastation all around though. I'm sure birds have more sense than people when it comes to taking shelter.
 
I' didn't realize that the storm was so bad on the north side. We saw little damage over there on our brief drive on Saturday morning compared to this area ,and the Hanwell which were that badly hit. Dancing and spotting; somewhat more than like a small tornado touching down than like a high wind.Seelergirl, on the outskirts, lost an old spruce.; Friends a few miles away didn't even know there was a storm going on until I saw it on Facebook. Who knows?
 
I've been busy the last few years taking down mature and dead trees on my and adjacent properties ...

We tree birds do fly ... but with certain health problems slower and with kereire ... it is a beauty of a process if appreciated.

Out the street a lot of stuff come down! Power was off until the next afternoon in that area ...
 
You may have saved those properties some considerable damage by clearing those trees, Luce. I was visiting @Seeler and she was teaching me "45's"...a card game played here that reminds this former Ontarian as Euchre (which isn't really played here). When I left mid-afternoon the storm had hit.

My late dad's cohorts played what they called 10's ... an anxious game that had similar characteristics! Like a debate with the present POTUS ... useless!

We were still working on some items on the stand-up forest ... they too are now gump ... downers! Proof that despite powerful stonewalling ... stuff alters! Expect haunting images ... as the face hits the mire ... mental process is really Eire ... eh? Precedents?????

Incipient sapients? Perhaps the initiation of drips ... and computer programs that don;t behave as advertised ... SAPI?

What's in a word ... much abstract and shady concepts ... and few know what is on my mine ... a deep hole ... kind've like that Batman Symbol in the night's Skye! Jainism ... few understand that ... as part of not wishing to know such useless matters ... tis all Eire ... thin space ... then there are the winds of debate ... no calm over the cards!

If denied ... baffle eM!

Good morning. We've spent our first night in our very quiet summer park. First impressions are good. It's a dreary day, so I suspect it will be a good day to recharge after a couple busier days.

Lovely storm early this morning. Woke up to sound of steady persistent rain, drifted right back off (my favorite white noise). Last Zoom bible study this morning for the summer.
 
And more doozies on the way this evening BetteTheRed! Just put my portable farm into the garage for safe keeping! But otherwise it's been a glorious day!!
 
It's been a bit wild here tonight. Rain now heavy/persistent. Lots of thunder. Dog totally in bathroom, tile floor.
 
I had a wonderful stretched out birthday this year. BBQ at friend’s house Saturday, another on Monday, my next door neighbour rang my doorbell and ran off, leaving a gift at my door on Tuesday night, and then the skunk surprise on Wednesday morning. A field trip to the balancing rock by myself yesterday.

256 steps down to the cliff, note the wild cabbage in the bottom picture on the right- I have never seen wild cabbage before.
My mother skyped with me on Tuesday and when I came home I found a parcel from my sister in the mail ( the one sister I have had some issues with for the past ten years).
Not to forget the WC congratulates here.
Living alone, it is nice to be noticed.
After three days off, back to work today. I sent an email to my colleague yesterday, saying I am going to retire. She didn’t allow it, saying we already had 14 new referrals by Wednesday morning. Oh, well, the “Get Set For Life” ticket my neighbour gave me was not a winner. So, back to work it is.
 
Good morning! Here's the place to drown sorrows for non winning tickets, and other of life's disappointments, large, small, or otherwise. We may not be able to solve the world's problems, but we can commiserate, and that's surely something.

Thou wilt arrive here ... regardless of calling ... even if you don't know you needed meaning ... tis all in the philosophical literature that is buried in the myth ...

However some stonewalls are not impacted ... they just collapse ---Joshua ... and old label for something else against the wall ... sects without meaning or understanding?

@Mrs.Anteater Sounds like you had a memorable day, with gifts both material and soulful. They won't forgive you at work if you win the lottery.
I picked up some David's breakfast blend, so I made a whole pot to share. Puts tea cosy on teapot.
