Ok, here the original and my changes in brackets:

Hungarian Krautpie
Dough:
The recipe asks for 15 g of fresh yeast ( something I have never found here in Canada- fresh yeast),
175g lukewarm sourmilk ( I just used regular milk), 2 1/2 tbs sunflower oil, 1/2 tsp salt ( I omitted, because Sauerkraut is already salty), 175g wheat, 75 g rye (in this cookbook they grind the flour just before using it, I just used 200 g of wheat to make a basic dough with the yeast), 1/2 tsp cumin, 50 g shredded cheese
,ix all together, let rise ( I usually either put the container into hot water for rising or set it on a heat bag and cover it up.
For the filling:
450 g Sauerkraut, 125g onions ( which is two small or one larger), 200 g apples, shredded ( two small ), one green and one red pepper ( I only had red ones), 6 TBS sunflower oil, 1 tsp cumin, 2 tsp sweet paprika, 1/2 tsp rosen
aprika ( I used red paprika and smoked paprika) salt, optional 1-3 tbs dry white wine ( I didn’t have any, but I can see that that would be a nice flavour)
topping:
125 Esrom cheese ( I used raclette cheese- similar strong tasting to esrom.
I can just imaging seeing that in a recipe book and I would be like NEXT when it comes to grind the rye.
Sounds reasonable with the changes though.

And I just tried a piece- I like it. Put that salt in the dough.

Yeah, I was thinking that as I was reading it. All dough type things need some salt to taste/behave properly. It is my experience that you can reduce it a bit, 3/8 tsp instead of 1/2, etc. without too much problem. Also, potatoes, you can never salt them properly after boiling them.

Sounds like a fun recipe to try...wish I had more spare time right now, lol...

And by sour milk, do they mean buttermilk, or "soured milk", using lemon juice/vinegar?
Either one- I tried with my milk but it got all curdled, must have put too much vinegar. Buttermilk and wine would have been good and rye flour, too. I wasn’t going to run to the store, though.

Can you imagine this being edited and rendered dow to CowPie in traditions objecting to the vegetable content? That's a whole nuther story if yah noes your myths and their essence ... krappie?

Good day, all! Palm-Passion Sunday has arrived. So if you can wave a virtual branch in one hand, and balance a cup of tea/ coffee/ hot chocolate/etc in the other, please feel free to do so.

c(_) Thanks Red.

Does everyone have their cardboard palm branches ready to wave later this morning?

I am always ready with the Bucket List and can imagine flights and para shoot jumps ... and peak climbs within my particular reason!

Some BS does not depend on any reason, or rationale whatsoever ... nohow/know why nothing is unknowable? For the generation of evolving myth! Entertains those out there ... before narcissism SET is in! SET is an important mystery ... scatalogically speaking ... intelligence is scattered ... some believe knowledge is chit and this divides the unmentionable! This unknown may ride on your shoulders ... just too cheeky!

The trouble with Schitz?

Just watched A Dog's Purpose on Netflix the other day.

The main character (dog) befriends a donkey but doesn't really know what to make of this creature. He always refers to the donkey as "Horse-Dog".

Horse-dog ... the carrier of the dogs of Rome ... wild women. In the composition put a little of this and some of all that. Gloria Steinem cranked out a document of that sort ...

May resemble that quote including "something borro'd, something blew"! A night of scattering ... the impulse! In Newton's observation this rendered down to: MV = IT! The dynamic goes onto relativity when considering the smallest parts ... infinitely so?

So little time so many connections to make --- Charlotte's Conspiracy ... a lacey scheme ... r'S Nick Eire?

I watched a History Documentary on U-862 ... a scheme to send some toxic technology to Japan from collapsing Germany! The metaphors abound many due to propaganda ... it's still a toxic use of know ledge .. a spot to be in to see it is used pragmatically!

U-862 really went down to the Ç's ...

So I submitted a new short story to a competition early this morning and then ... the site went down.

It's not my fault, really.

Good day, all. Coffee and tea, etc. are ready. Help yourself!

Coffee, sunshine, blue skies, lots poking up in the garden, sheets & towels washed & hanging outside for the first time this season! Looks like a good day ahead!

We watched that movie a few nights ago. It, apparently, was just what we needed.

This little jackass is our alarm clock these days. We thought he was sick because he kept banging into the window. Turns out it's mating season. He's either flirting with or fighting the other bird he sees. (Reflection) IMG_20200406_193605_905.jpg
