Have you considered getting a battery-operated mower? It's quieter and you never have to worry about gas - just plugging it in to make sure it's charged.

For my next one, perhaps, if there is a next one. Current one isn't that old and may last me until we sell this place. After, I imagine we'll go for a condo or similar that requires less maintenance.

Ugh, not having a great time with tea.
Chemguy knocked over a tin of the stuff. Some of it was still in there. Some fell into an infuser that had been used - and I had already planned to stick in the dishwasher because I saw him the evening before not handling raw chicken very carefully beside it. He wasn't listening to me and dumped all the tea he spilled into the tin. This was 'my' tea - bought on a trip right after my birthday where he also spent more money on tea for himself than the tea we were getting for my birthday, his tea is stuff that I don't really go into unless we're splitting one that's been steeped. So why he was getting into mine instead of his I do not know.
I've been him on weeks to replace it. There's one close to work, he's let 2 coupons expire.
He woke me up this morning by calling me from the landline (and therefore knowing I have to get out of bed, the morning after I went to the gym) to tell me it's discontinued and not available. I spent a fair bit of money online on tea today, hopefully it actually gets sent!

Rest of the day was less frustrating :)
Went out to a greenhouse a bit out of the way. Never been there before, it was interesting, residential area and their house was right behind the greenhouse. Plants were quite expensive. I did get the last of what I wanted for potatoes though.
On the way home quite a few bikes and motorcycles on the highway. We made a comment about how neither of us would feels safe doing either. Then some ambulances drove heading out of the city, I said something about being out of the city is not the best place to have an emergency - longer time to hospital etc. We end up coming to a stop, it looked like one of the motorcyclists who had passed us about a minute ago had gone off the road, motorcycle in pieces, the ambulances driving in the other direction were behind, they had flipped around as soon as they could to be on the road in the correct direction. This spring it has been bad for motorcyclists, hopefully this guy will recover but it looked bad.

Can’t understand why people would put milk in it

I generally never put milk or sugar in tea. I have done it on occasion with a bad orange pekoe but that's exceptional. Partly just because I like the taste of a good, properly brewed tea, partly because I drink a lot of flavoured teas (Earl Grey, Lemon) and East Asian teas like green and oolong that don't take milk and sugar.

Nosey me.....just want to let you know about a secret tea paradise in Paris (Ontario). My favourite is Queen Elizabeth blend.

Queen Elizabeth Black Tea
This Queen Elizabeth tea is a tea to satisfy even the most elect of tastes. With a lavish blend of Ceylon, Assam, and Darjeeling from the famous tea estates in India and Sri Lanka, it is an elixir that will make you want to take out your finest china. Enjoying a cup will reveal a musical crescendo of various notes and levels of flavours; malty, toasty, muscatel, fruity, and rustic. It is an incredible everyday tea with a little extra wow factor. That is why we’ve decided to dedicate it in honour of Queen Elizabeth who is known for her love of tea as well as her ability to impress. Want the full English tea experience? Why not add some scones with cream and jam, some mini sandwiches, or some cakes and cookies, and turn an ordinary afternoon into a palace tea party!

How can you resist that description! Bit overdone, but It's actually very good. I buy enough for 10 cups every year or so. About $5
Here's where I buy it...when I take a day to visit Paris (Ontario). Lovely place on the Grand River.

Can also be ordered online:

Haven't actually been to Paris in a while. Now I am thinking a visit is due.

Tonight I am drinking The Skinny from David's. A blend of oolong and pu'erh teas with ginger and eleuthero.

If you're looking for tea you've come to the right place. Our collection of tea may be limited but you can always bring your own. Along with lemon wedges, lime juice, or what have you. Mean while the coffee is brewed. Indulge and enjoy.

Did you know that T was once a Tao as a platform for discourse ... an opposite attribute to the essence of intercourse is my guess ... something ineffable?

Third part of the monkey rule ... when mother's dai make us look foolish? Just no respect for those alternate to the patriarchal respect? No means allowed as too well dispersed in the medium ... the vacant thinking domain! Think nothing of it ...

Thus it it difficult to get it together by incidence of impact ... momentum initiated by Newton! Myth or story poorly understood by a patriarchal authority that said it was best if the common folk (pagan) didn't know ... and thus we are led to nothing as consequence ...

I believe the myth goes on ...

Under patriarchal rule say nothing that the patriarch understands ... generating bird chatter in the the shadow of trees ... and Jude'n Punch as a poke at IT!

Thus knowing nothing is supported by the populace while there are rare exceptions ... like the Aramaic, these must be put down and darkly eliminated as deep illumination ... Jay Zus can this be so obscure in the myth?

One has to get beyond outside this in order of looking at what's behind yah ... a casting Eire ...

There was a grand illustration in Broadview ... mostly unobserved! Metaphors make it easy to put them in occult form in the dark humid zones ... as sharpened by lack of illumination ... thus life's darker side ...

Rendering down continues ...

Coffee is always welcome in the morning! :coffee:

Did @Redbaron bring the virtual dishwasher over from the last post thread, I wonder?

It's just down the hall. As long we have a cart or something to move the glasses down there.

I have a couple David's samplers here for those seeking more variety in tea.

Happy Monday, all! Coffee cart is in operation, with warming drinks of your choice. Enjoy.

Sweet Peach tea from Tea Haus is in my pot/cup. Anyone else?

All hell is breaking loose here at work today.o_O How's your day?

It's just very strange to me. My 'default' lifetime cuppa is a plain orange pekoe (Tetley's, I'm afraid) with a wedge of freshly squeezed lemon.

Lime is for gin.
Tetley is great...my usual cuppa. I could never afford QE daily and wouldn't want to get tired of it anyway.
I just enjoy the $5 luxury. All too soon my sense of taste will diminish, and I won't be able to discern the difference between my tea and hot, milky dishwater.

Ooo - hope your day improves @Mendalla . Thanks for the tea!
Cold & rainy here. Went to the doc - bones are a bit worse, kidneys are better, yes those are small warts on my finger .... oh the joys of aging!
Church meeting this afternoon - should be 'interesting' & I'm trying to go slowly and keep an open mind and open heart.
