How was church today?

Church last Sunday was the beginning of summer pulpit supply. I know all three of them, and they are all fine people.

HOWEVER, I cannot do a second week of the Rev C___, an eternal favourite of 'ours'. Nice guy, used to be the minister of the (rather more conservative) church across the street, long retired, still chaplain of LTC facility across the street. But God, for him, is completely Lord, King, He and Him. Every single hymn he picked was full of it, his scripture passage as well. Now, if a minister makes even a little effort at gender balance, I'm good with it. ("She Comes Sailing on the Wind" will cover an entire service of He, Him, Lord, King for me), but when there's NO effort, and it's obvious that the issue isn't even on their radar, well, I'll skip next week.
As a LLWL, I try really hard not to do the he/him thing. But I do say God and Lord because sometimes coming up with other words sounds a little phony in my mouth. Now, you've got me thinking about whether I've offended people because of my hymn choice.

As a guest preacher I always use Him, He, His, God, Lord, King, etc. There has thus far only been one time when I was preaching that I referred to God's Spirit as "She."

That seems like an odd question crazyheart.Does it surprise you that I'm able to recall something that I myself did? I have memories going back to the womb.
wow - memories going back to womb ... you should submit yourself/your brain to scientific study - you may be one of a kind. Actually you are one of a kind ... as you will tell us ... we are all one of a kind. Oh so predictable .... sigh.

Instant regret?

Does Jae support regrets ... or just plug on under free will alone?

Strange intelligence went out with Copernicus and all those intelligent fools ... evolved right out of existence to create imaginary psyches ... some say a dark form of psychosomatics ... what one encounters when aspiring about dreamland ... Shadowy Era?

Rest not is the call from great operators ... work ethic vs rest for the operating sins? Is a quiet life a sin ... I'm b' ad ... a second stretch of that which isn't (incarnate)? Word without mean ... as most folk go one way or the other ... polity?

Some form Z' lustre about the pole position ... The Shining? That glow after taking a caning ... to the beat of sects?

Some appreciate it .. some knot ...

Sort of approaches the sense of Cthulhu and Chthonic nature ... a monster to those that wish singular status ...

I'd rather be like story and myth ... subtle and mysterious as Mithras ... subtle bull?

One gets an image of Hydra ... and that other lady wrapped in Ze Weid ... SlKei?

Tis a less known Celtic item of essence ... stinking Geist's?

Not much we can do Carolla, is there? Our memories are our memories.

If we wished not to know in real life ... what will happen when the real converts to a virtual aspiration ... something visualized in your sol ... in mental impression proving the mental is out there yet as foreign intelligence ... a stranger of darker proportion?

In one mythology when stepping across the line ... one wish is grated, a given gift so one could forget the Eire of mankind's brutality for a bit ... brace up ... it could come back at you in an OBI! Or so some may conjure as a spontaneous return on investment in reality programs ... wasn't that bigga something? Thus truth is extended for later ...

Did you know many people say the mind is imaginary ... an abstract being ... sort of like it isn't as appears and thus incarnate!

We could have this all upended and backwards so read it from all directions ... the truth is even tensor ...

The only person I've ever come across who could successfully bandage truth was Desmond Tutu. I once heard him in an interview tell the United States, as a country, that they were on the wrong path and doing wrong things. He did it so sorrowfully, but joyfully, and also lovingly, that you were left feeling an enormous compassion and hope for the country.

Agree. i have read his books about forgiveness. Similar experience.

We need to hear Tutu's voice again.

Thus one should put on your best Tutu and do a proper dance ... giving it all you've got ...

Giving will cause some people of archetypical avarice to dance about it in another mode ...
