What you need, Nancy, IMO, is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine. When I've done something mechanical to myself (usually related to the action of a dog), I head myself straight off to see her.
I've gone to my chiropractor three times and he has also given acupuncture. And yes, this injury could very well be dog-related. The chiropractor I see is usually impressed by how quickly I recover from things. I tell him that I'm good for his confidence. But this time, he and I are both a little perplexed. I go back on Monday. But, actually, (touch wood), I'm feeling a little better now.

Well it's been a tiring week here-but worth it.
My youngest room-well his former room is getting an upgrade. Aqua walls, hardwood (dark) from Habitat for Humanity Restore, ceiling painted. After all that a wall bed will be put together and installed.

The work was me clearing out my boxes and D having to deal with the junk he left in cupboards and bookcase. Lots of work for him, emotional work as he sorted stuff but ta da The workman is her and the room is empty. Good bye carpet!

Strangest dream ever: I was sitting with Donald Trump and another guy (from China) watching election results. I was the 'no name' in the crowd, with no vote and no influence so they could be entirely honest with me. Trump surprised me by being nicer than I thought. But he also admitted, rather sheepishly, that he didn't want to win, also didn't want to admit that to anyone important. Interesting dream that I attribute mostly to those muscle relaxants I'm taking.

I'm feeling a bit more settled. Got a phone call mid morning that my order is at the blood bank - they didn't have it yesterday. My firazyr delivery came this afternoon, I was expecting that today.

Yes - hello pinga & all. Brrr ... winter seems to have arrived in full force here ... I'll toss a few extra logs into the woodstove & give the big pot of soup a stir - to keep us all warm & fed. I'm thinking about a few of my recent patients who live 'on the street' - I can't even imagine doing so at this time of year.

In juxtaposition - I've been "Xmasing" the house & today I will decorate the tree - it has to warm up a bit first tho, after its long stay in the garage. Nice to feel the sunshine coming in through the window.

Glad you are more settled chemgal.

I'm worrying with my friend and co-worker. She found a lump-and has had breast cancer. Dr. has requested immediate ultra-sound and biopsy. She was already scheduled for surgery on fri. (just fat grafting to improve appearance of reconstructed breast) Praying and hoping that all will be well.

Hey ChemGal - hoping your dental surgery went well today - I was certainly thinking about you!

Hugs to you Tabitha, as you journey along with your friend. Prayers for a benign outcome.

I'm doing ok. Long day. Hospital appt was 7:30 am left around 6:45 am - there for 2 hours or so. Home to arrange stuff for the clinic - not even an hour.
Got home from clinic 4ish. Chemguy still had to get me meds.
Picked up on an attack during. Freezing didn't kick in fully but was very minor for the extraction. It should have been freezing more but pain was worse instead of better and area got larger during stitches. Had chemguy mix up for me during so i got it quickly. Wisdom teeth removal taught me hae causes more pain than necessary.

started this earlier. had weird heart sensations whiched caused me to be dizzy and nauseous while typing. Maybe adverse reaction to a pain med i haven't used before? i was given 2 and tol to use new one before freezing wore off
pain even with meds wearing off is better than past week. way way better than the 2 days when it was bad. funny how surgery is treated better than high sudden acute pain

iv placement sucks on hand. want it in for tonight at least though

Hugs to you chemgal. Yes IV placement on hand sucks. I had 1 for 2 days and it was extremely awful. You are so much better at treating your HAE now then before. It seems like you have a variety of options and can choose each time.

Good news. My friends lump is an oily cyst. totally non-cancerous. All is very well.

I've had something like that on my back. Pain in the ass when they drain and I've had at least one surgically removed (minor day surgery) due to pain and possible infection but, yeah, non-cancerous. Glad she got some good news this holiday season.

Got some good new re my bf's mom. She had surgery a few weeks ago to remove the two cancerous lumps. They sent the tissue for testing to make sure they got it all and the results came back yesterday. She is cancer free!!!! Radiation is still going to happen in the new year but I am rejoicing in this news until then.
