What makes...
A Russian Orthodox? Good strong legs.
A Jewish Christian? You think you could call your ima once in a while?
A 7th Day Adventist? Feel the burn!
A mormon? Share in our nice peach juice.

8 billion and counting religions,
Inannawhimsey

Can a simple soul account for all that?

I understand I'm the atheist in the room, but whenever I hear "born again", I can't be the only person here who immediately deducts 20 IQ points from the person who said it. It is the most exclusivist yet meaningless concept in Christianity, and that's saying a lot.

"Born again" has become a laughable cliche. I don't use it.

Hey Jae. Did you with the race between you teaching English in South Korea and the UCCan kicking Rev. Vosper to the curb?

Are you kidding? That would require them to actually do something.

No, there are apparently dates in November and a panel. I'll believe it when it actually happens.

So are you in South Korea?

Yes, have been for almost a week now. Have been visiting Yobo's family, shopping and eating at great restaurants. Have been offered a job in a private school - I start this Thursday.

Cool and congratulations.

Thank you all. I'm really looking forward to teaching here. I'll be teaching various classes from Elementary to adults.

Will you use the King's English alone ?

With some Celtic wanderings in a thin place ... it can be a mixup ...

I'll be teaching good ole fashioned Canadian English. Will be interesting for the students since their teacher for the past two years was South African.

Yes, colloquialisms quite different from one to another. Fortunately, I've always found a South African accent fairly clear, pronunciation-wise, compared with some of the U.K. dialects.
