Kinda dumb, since the Bible aka the word of God is already in the hearts of men

As farce or satyr? Who separated emotions and intellect into unstable elements?

Are there variants that can gather anything and everything ... thus frustrating the mon char Raed pickers, as burning remnants ?

Smokers!

Kinda dumb, since the Bible aka the word of God is already in the hearts of men

May God rest as when showing his headway ... always a state of dissonance ... due to straying powers ...

Generates chaos in reality ...

Psyche information ... or intelligence on this matter ... are beyond those already in a state of reversion or conversion from stable to energetic blast!

This is best seen from out there ... a stretch 've thought? A word from Sam on being too close to scattering forces that could deprive you of clear images ... like Moses on the heap facing God ... quick recess, or appear retarded ... backing off?

Get out with ye ... this may vary with the night ... of Ka's in imagination ...

I don't think the conversation is using the meme at all fairly. To be honest quite a bit of theological ignorance is at play on both sides.

First, the Bible is more than a book. The Bible is a library of books. Beyond that, a Library is where one goes to gain access to the thoughts of so many who have studied so much. It truly is more than printed page on paper. It becomes the air we breathe, the thoughts we think, the ground we are rooted in. In that regard, there is not a great deal of difference between wisdom as we acquire it as Westerners and wisdom as our First Nations brothers and sisters have acquired it experientially. What differs is the scope of what is known.

Claiming that God has written scripture on human hearts is one thing. Watching human hearts live that out is quite another thing altogether. And deeply discouraging that those who would readily make such claims stumble mightily when it comes to loving their neighbours.

One of the great lessons I have taken away from the Reformed tradition is that God is always speaking through all things and humanity can, if it desires, nurture its ability to hear what it is that God is saying through all those things. Reading words off the page is easy. Hearing those words whispered on the wind is much less easy. Hearing the stars sing the praises of God is much, much less easy. When we discount immediately those who have done the harder work of listening to the wind and the stars without considering how those testimonies are reflected in the written word or embodied in the living Word we demonstrate that we aren't interested in hearing God so much as we are in limiting how God may be heard.

So many tomes in the stacks as the pile grows in opposition to those that would rather not know such expanses ...

And the Hubble is down depressed at the vision below it ... a two comos vision ... one of emotional disturbance and one of intellectual holes in the system based on emotions alone ... essence of nothing?

It was hardly missed until chi'z gone ... like a Canna Ba'aL to the side of the head M'N ... ab low state? Naivete personified in opposite form ... peg a sis is like a dog in the clockwork wheel ... a splash 've time?

GiancarloZ -----YouR Scripture Quote ---------Mark 9:40, NRSV says: Whoever is not against us is for us.

unsafe says
----OH NO !-----Not that Cherry Picking Thing Again --------guess it's OK for some to Cherry Pick scriptures and get away with it but others are condemned for it ------Depends on which side your on I guess ----------For Christ or Against Christ

unsafe says =====So GiancarloZ if your using this sentence to says there is common ground ------Think Again -------

Proverbs 4:7 says this ------unsafe Cherry Picking here --OH NO ! Not That

Proverbs 4:7 (KJV)
7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

unsafe posting the rest of this part of Scripture -----verse 41 gives you the answer ------41 I can assure you that anyone who helps you by giving you a drink of water because you belong to the Messiah will definitely get a reward.

Unbelievers are away from Christ according to scripture ----and it is easy to call yourself a Christian by using your lips -----Being a true Christ--ian includes the Heart ------Jesus is giving a warning ------

Mark 9:38-41 (ERV)
Whoever Is Not Against Us Is For UsA)'>

38 Then John said, “Teacher, we saw a man using your name to force demons out of someone. He is not one of us. So we told him to stop, because he does not belong to our group.”

unsafe says -----so this is showing us that if this person can force demons out he is showing that he does belong to Christ -----So this could have been one of the 70 Jesus sent out ----it doesn't say ---But John is assuming that he is not one of them ----Then Jesus corrects John in the next verse

39 Jesus said, “Don’t stop him. Whoever uses my name to do powerful things will not soon say bad things about me.

unsafe says ----So Jesus had given this person power to do this -------no man could do this on there own power -----

40 Whoever is not against us is with us.

unsafe says ----this is speaking about the work of the preacher -------just posting a bit of Matthew Henry's commentary on this for you ------you can read all his commentary on this chapter here at link below -----unsafe says ---I like Matthew Henry's commentary cause he always brings the Scripture back to Christ

ttps://www.bibletools.org/index.cfm/fuseaction/Bible.show/sVerseID/24579/eVerseID/24579/RTD/MH

This Jesus taught them by a sign; whoever shall receive one like this child, receives me.
Many have been like the disciples, ready to silence men who have success in preaching to sinners repentance in Christ's name, because they follow not with them.
Our Lord blamed the apostles, reminding them that he who wrought miracles in his name would not be likely to hurt his cause. If sinners are brought to repent, to believe in the Saviour, and to live sober, righteous, and godly lives, we then see that the Lord works by the preacher.

41 I can assure you that anyone who helps you by giving you a drink of water because you belong to the Messiah will definitely get a reward.

unsafe says ---41 speaks for it self in my view ----

Mark 9:38-41 (AMP)
Dire Warnings

38 John said to Him, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we tried to stop him because he was not accompanying us [as Your disciple].”A)'>

39 But Jesus said, “Do not stop him; for there is no one who will perform a miracle in My name, and be able soon afterward to speak evil of Me.

40 For he who is not against us is for us.B)'>

41 For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because of your name as followers of Christ, I assure you and most solemnly say to you, he will not lose his reward.

unsafe says ---so your either with Christ or you against Christ ------no common ground

Ritafee ----you posted this below as me saying this -----TO Clarify ---unsafe did not say this ----unsafe posted Scripture which is God's word I did not write the scripture ------so I quoted Scripture only ----these below are not my own words -----This is the scripture it comes from ---Luke 11:14-54 (NKJV)-

unsafe said:
16 Others, testing Him, D)'>sought from Him a sign from heaven.

GiancarloZ --- Ya I agree it is funny about this cherry picking stuff ---but here is the thing understanding what the cherry picking stuff is --is more important than just cherry picking with no understanding or the wrong understanding -----in my view

Your either a true Christ--ian or your Not -------Your Either with Christ --or your not ---there is no inbetween ----anyone can talk the talk but not everyone will walk the talk ------that is the difference between a true and false Christian ----and if you go back and look at what I post --I post the whole section so it can be read in context ---but I usually bold the scripture I want seen ------I have gotten comments about that to -----I am not well received you might say ---but I am getting the word out and that is why I am here so I hope this sight goes and goes for a long time to come and I hope more and more people join the more the merrier ------what people here think of me is up to them it doesn't effect me in the least anymore ------I am way passed that stage -----Keep posting GiancarloZ your important to the sight as are all the people here ------This is a Great Sight

You have a great day :)

Here is the thing ---we are not wrestling each other in the flesh we are wrestling against Spiritual forces who influence our thinking ----God and Satan ----God's word is our weapon against the devil ------Satan is after our Faith ------

Our greatest weapon in the fight for faith is God’s word. Keep your sword with you every moment by memorizing Scripture.

Scripture is not always reliable.....but that's another can of worms you can post scripture for.

Following this thread, I wonder how much fear must be in a person who has to cling so violently to a book
Fear is a great motivator. Sometimes Christianity uses fear of death. Sometimes it uses separation anxiety against us. But there is also a fear of being wrong that motivates Christians to double and triple-down on claims. And then there is the fear of being laughed at, that makes them strike out in all sorts of ways.

For a faith that is supposed to bring peace and love and joy, I see a lot of fear in the loudest and proudest Christians. And they want others to be scared, too.

In a way, they are the tiny dogs of Christianity. They are the loudest dogs on the street when they bark threateningly from behind the security of their own fences, but open the gate and they are a shaking, cowering mess. Occasionally they will pee themselves or use words like "Kinda dumb..."

Waterfall---- your quote ------- Scripture is not always reliable.....but that's another can of worms you can post scripture for.
