Well, isn't that f***ing hilarious? He was okay when he was a playboy rapist who hung out with Jeffrey Epstein and his ilk. He was okay when he stole millions of investors' money to pad his own pockets. He was okay when he paid off porn stars not to talk about him, yet bragged about grabbing pussy. He was okay when he talked about how only his parenthood prevented him from going after his own daughter. He was okay when he said he could shoot anyone he wanted and get off. He was okay when he appears to have attempted a coup of the U.S. constitution by overturning a legitimate transfer of power. He was okay when he was indicted on many corruption charges in many states. He was okay to defend Christianity by holding a bible upside down that he has clearly never read.

What exactly was the straw that broke the camel's back?

Exposure is a rotten thing ... like truth should be indisposed for political cause ... thus laid out horizonal conspiracies? Much cover called for ... can*opies?

May be fund under the ultimate tree ... a sophisticated logic ... complex plot? Grave ...

I would be surprised if anyone could be able to say?

Ya gotta remember most of our decisions aren't made consciouslly

So we don't choose our worldview or or sexual orientation or what cookies we like or such

Just look at what is going on with Trudeau. There is a lot less support from those who did support him, with nothing much aboot him really being different. The post hoc justifications for believeing that way are interesting and quite normal -- our conscious mind seems more to be a press secretary, noting our actions and whatnot and trying to construct a narrative around it

Thusly around Trump as well. Which includes which bits one feels is bad aboot him and neutral or good or can sleep well with?

There still seems to be 2 camps aboot Trump in at least Canada and USA; he is still the best and he is the worst (and so using confirmation bias see what he does in the best or the worst light).

I like what Peter Zeihan says aboot the GOP; that not all the factions in the GOP are going to vote for Trump

And since the GOP base is smaller than the Dem base...and since those on the fence have changed their decades old voting patterns...Trump has no chance of winning the primaries...

Have hope :3

(still chuckling over the various news stories which, through selective editing and photography, would show Trump to be gaffing or being heinous when really it was normal...like the koi overfeeding incident mua ha ha)

I have heard it suggested he could still run from jail, but surely that would be enough to get the RNC to do something. I have heard discussion of the idea of a brokered convention where a consensus candidate is chosen/negotiated and nominated at the convention, so maybe that. That was actually in the context of the Dems replacing Biden, but it could be an option for the GOP, too, if Trump falls apart for some reason.

As for imploding, his ego must surely have enough mass to cause him to collapse into a black hole or neutron star. With the resulting supernova wiping out the MAGA wing of the Republican Party, hopefully.

Have you seen his recent speech where he said Saudi Arabia then a bunch of true gibberish? When you see his face during the gibberish, it looks like he's having a seizure or stroke. Seriously.

He has pretty much said as much. There is a plan in place among his followers to basically fire a huge raft of civil servants and replace them with appointed loyalists. He actually issued the necessary executive order right at the end of his last mandate but Biden repealed it. And to use the Justice Department as a weapon against their enemies.

I expect he will. He's said this through his campaign. He's also full of rage and revenge.
