It is good to pass them on. Was it hard?
Yes. Heartwrenching. I had been thinking ofi t for a long time as my ability to use them failed.I know I wont live forever and this stuff needs to get dealt with while I am here to make decisions. I really don't want to have my kids doing it while adjusting to life without me.
It is embarrasing to realise how much syuff there
s to deal with. Piles of music, a stamp collection, photos etc. P eople j oke about their junk drawer - i seem to have several plus a closet.
My paerner doesn't understand and says he will happily leave his stuff behind for others to deal with. It makes want to die first. I have no idea how to get rid of three lathes, however many saws, racks of hand tools and hoarded wood. .
