True, that isn't saying much, but it's a start.

LOL..thanks I think?? I am just going to put it out here...are people on this site accepting of LGBTQ lifestyles?"
Like real life, some are and some aren't. I think more are accepting than aren't here. One of our mods, @RitaTG would probably have a better idea.

No. Rev. Steven Davis keeps hitting on me, and I want him to stop. I am not accepting of his sexual advances, and I want him to stop sending me "selfies" of himself in a waiter's jacket and apron, without pants.

As for what other men or women, be they transgendered or otherwise, do with other consenting adults? I don't care. I personally figure people who are preoccupied with consensual sex they aren't having are far more deviant than whatever is going on behind the door they're trying to listen through.

Ok..im totally lost now...I came here to this site because I thought it might be a more accepting place..now im not so sure...

@Anne-Marie. I think this site is far ahead of lots of sites. We have been around for 7 years
on WC1. It was there that we spent so much time on the "Issue" of the United Church that by the time we all got here, we have really become the most affirming web site I know.
We really know who most of our LGBTQ posters are but imo, that is not something that we even talk about much.
Everyone is invited and welcomed and you will be very happy here ,I think.
I have learned so much from our LGBTQ members that many of us got our education here.
Now, Chansen , is our resident Atheist and sometimes his jokes do go on and on. But he has become a valued member of WC2.
I look foreward to chatting with you.

Those who tend to be less accepting tend to stick to the religion & faith subforum. If you post about a LGBTQ issue in there, expect some of the fundy (fundamentalist Christian) members to pipe up. You won't be alone in telling them why they are wrong though :)

If you post about a LGBTQ issue in relationships, social, parenting, etc. you probably won't have too many negative comments if any, although they occur sometimes. If anything seems out of line, report it.

Thanks crazy heart for your explanation...I will go to the room you recommended...there is enough turmoil and negativity in this world.
