On another thread you said your wife made you stop diet.
No. I shared that she asked that I cease my transition to being vegan. She's all for me dieting.
Chemguy is almost at his first goal point. He set it for near the end of June. I'm wondering if he's going to increase the number of calories slightly.
In 5 weeks' time, I'll weigh only 212.8 lbs.![]()
How the hell could you possibly know to the decimal what you'll weigh in 5 weeks? Most people's weight varies by a pound or two day to day so the most accurate you could ever possibly get predicting what your weight will be even in 24 hours would be +/- 2 lbs. or so. 5 weeks out? Put some error bars around that sucker for sure.
It's my current MyFitnessPal prediction.![]()
What if everyday was a bit better than today? What if you substituted a healthier snack or got more exercise? Can you find out the impact of changes you could make? Because that might actually be more of an incentive for users to make changes.

I'm curious (not for myself, but for a friend with CKD), if you can use it with different targets. I'd love it if I could tell the old guy what the implications are of diet/exercise choices on his potassium levels, for instance.
Maybe on the Pro version of the app. I'm using the freebie.
What app do you have?
It's called GoHealthNow. It's more or less geared specifically to diabetics though they are trying to make it broader now. We actually know the guy who started the company (a prof at Western that my wife knows through the Chinese professors group) and saw him talk about his own struggles with Type 2 diabetes a few years before he started the company.
Not available for Android.
Sure it is. I'm running it on a Galaxy S6. Check the Play store.
