That's another one. There's a lot of talk about Pennsylvania this election though as a state that went Trump last time but could go Biden this time.I thought it was Florida that was the important state to win...?
Except you?Too bad everybody is clueless.
Trump's going to make a big stink about absentee votes in Pennsylvania. That's another one. There's a lot of talk about Pennsylvania this election though as a state that went Trump last time but could go Biden this time.
That comment about guns is truely off the wall
what is wrong with Americans that they can’t have a simple election without violence. Or the threat of violence. It’s like suddenly they all realized they are actually a banana republic
elections come every two years in the USA. Just vote. Be happy, be sad. But there is no call for violence
after Trump won last time I loved the peaceful but impactful protests of women wearing pussy hats. Lest anyone forget his grab em by the p.... comment
the man is the most unsuited president they have had in modern history. yet he may still get elected. There are more stupid people in the USA than anyone realized. Except Trump. He knew it all along
but the idea that red necks with guns will start attacking the opposite side is truly unbelievable
Agreed. I also admire your civil approach LP. My mum was a progressive conservative and you sound similar. She wasn't a social conservative. As she said, she didn't liker waste (as she called it).Thank you, LP. You've illustrated a point that I've been pondering for a while.
You are clearly a conservative person and have probably voted that way in Canadian elections at both levels. I can respect that; while I cannot say the same, my mother was a PC supporter. You make reasonable points, I have yet to hear a rant, and you don't post reams of spurious bulls**t video from sources that make my browser say "sure you wanna go there?".
This whole polarizing, demonizing of all other points of view, to the point of blindness, is a fairly new phenomenon in politics, and I just wonder why the evangelical movement has wedded itself so firmly to this one particular party, and one particularly noxious example of the "best they can do". And only the most very selective/cherry-picking reading of the Christian and Jewish scriptures can justify their position.

One week of drinking for PG until the results are final and then another one over the loss of Trump.Pace yourself and make it last. There may be no 'big party' until about Friday, when tRump's frivolous court cases will all have been laughed out of court, and the final vote totals can be ascertained.
It's still a term used in sociology. I remember the prof of my class saying - 10 yrs ago - that's it's becoming more political to use the term."Red neck"/outside worker being conservative is more stereotyping.
The most "red neck" woman I know is 80, just sold her farm last year, did most of the work after her husband died. She's busy building new gardens at her new house, mulching leaves as she mows them to rake onto her rose beds. Her energy worries her neighbours and shames mine. She is as liberal as the day is long. I know, because I share bible study and progressive christianity study every week with her.
She'd never need a gun. She'd skewer you with those steel-blue eyes and ask you what the blazes you were up to!
