It justifies looking for the good in him.
Let's celebrate the imago Dei in everyone.
RitaTG, I've decided to take the optimistic high road of looking for the good in everyone. If you choose to take the low road of being critical, of buying into the biased media's words about Trump, that's your choice.
Both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were created in the image of God. Both are loved by God. The same goes for me. And you. And everyone who's posted on this thread. And Hitler. etc., etc. It is equally true that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
OK, we're all created in the image of God and loved by God. Everyone's equal in that respect. We're all less than we should be. Everyone's equal in that respect, too. So, now, we have to deal with the question of policies and actions and behaviours and words.
That's where equality breaks down, and every person has to be looked at as an individual. Jae, you accuse people of attacking Trump or being mean-spirited toward him, or whatever, when in fact by his own words he has demonstrated himself to be promoting misogynistic, racist and xenophobic views. He has demonstrated childishness and vindictiveness and lack of self-control.
And please don't say "Source?" You know this as well as I do. So do the various Republicans and other conservative commentators who have refused to support him because of these very things, some of whom have endorsed Hillary Clinton.
You say you want to look for the good in everyone. That's commendable. But, from my perspective, Trump's negatives far outweigh his positives. Clinton's may as well. As I've said many times I think the Americans have a terrible choice between these two. I think Clinton's the better choice, but in all honesty that's not saying much.
