TRUMP - Some people think......... How do you feel?

Trump has shown himself over and over and over to be a racist, bigoted, misogynist, self serving, bombastic, selfish person in every aspect of his life and campaign. He has brought out the worst in America and fanned the flames of everything that society has been working so hard on eradicating. I do not see anything in him that can be remotely described as Christian character.
And we are led to believe that is supposed to be the values that Christians are supposed to look for.
Yet here we have "christians" defending such a person and shutting their eyes and hardening their hearts to the attitudes, words, and actions of someone that is the very antithesis of what they claim to believe.
Itching ears...... itching ears indeed...... their hearts exposed.......

What if instead of just echoing the critical voices of the media and its op-ed pundits when it comes to the candidates, we began to look for and cherish the imago Dei in each of them. Donald Trump was created in the image of God, as was Hillary Clinton. What if we began to celebrate that.

Dei a god of love and Ares ... and ensuing war? Is Sue-like ... a subtle Y's dumb?

Let us think about that while those blind tue wit can't see the satyr I call humus ... and thus RIFTS and wrinkles in space said to be nothing spatial!

The damned thinkers are out there ... just gotta be as the emotional deis eliminate them ... J' Sues (maas I awe) syndrome?

Do you follow Massai myths Jae?

The BOOK says we should look into all books ... even if out of here! No end to the stories --- CS Lewis ...

De tails, detailings ... NDs a' dragon ... C'est sa rae' ... "Ray" a blind hole in a log? Knotty!

With what human mortals know ... what else can one say ... leading to connecting Ma Yah to Hebrew totems ...

What if we look for how Christ is represented in them?
Humble?
Doesn't replace evil with evil
Doesn't live by the sword
Loves their enemy
A servant
Doesn't kill
Loves God
serves the oppressed
etc....
Yikes, nothing to see here folks, go home.

...and this justifies supporting him?????
What about celebrating all the people he has said such mean things about?
Never a word about that ..... no standing up for them..... no love shown.....
You go ahead and celebrate ................

Did Hitler rise to the supreme goal of power through ignorance in the host?

Odd things in the natural power mongering world, right ... there has to be a subtle world ... where Christ dipped off to in an array of diphthongs ... hung in trees of awareness as a metaphor of eternal cognizance ... rye truth? Tiny string like icons ... like Y's and T-2's or tous Taes ... cultish release to dei fore ????

What confidence men need to learn ... a go'd ph*ck up? Shakespeare would label ID a Puck ... Ares rising character on stage as Eire? Thus the Canna deism game's ... from the slippery Greek icons ... kohl ah bi ... ho'key?

It justifies looking for the good in him.

Let's celebrate the imago Dei in everyone.

RitaTG, I've decided to take the optimistic high road of looking for the good in everyone. If you choose to take the low road of being critical, of buying into the biased media's words about Trump, that's your choice.

Yes indeed you have made your choice................... my words stand.........

Remember the Clintons embracing and brimming with family virtues on the stage? This is the Bill Clinton who had an affair with an intern in the Oval Office. This is also the Bill Clinton who took holidays as below.

When his term ended, he and Hillary said they were broke.. Now, they are worth an unkown hundreds of millions thanks to gifts from Christian leaders in the oil and armament businesses.
Above, someone said I defined Mexicans as a race. I didn't. I said U.S. leaders treated them in a racist manner. (I make an effort to know the meanings of words.)
We are living in a very changed world. Our rulers are the very wealthy who buy our politicians. Democracy and the very idea of the nation-state are rapidly disappearing.

Oh - great idea from Pr. - let us celebrate the imago Dei in everyone.
Pr. - could you start with Hitler? Then with Methodist George Bush Jr. who lied about his reason for invading Iraq, and who murdered over a million people?
And yes, I think of imago Dei every time I see Trump on television.

Hitler and Bush Jr. were each created in the image of God. Could we look to see that in them? Yes, we could. However - that isn't the topic of this thread.

Then why did you bring it up? The topic .... not the persons....

I was suggesting what I feel is the best way to reflect upon the American Presidential candidates including Donald J. Trump. The topic of this thread is Trump.

agreed ... and the post was taking your celebrating the Dei in others comments and applying it to other politicians.
fair ball.

Off-track. If someone wants to discuss further application of the imago Dei, I'd certainly consider joining that conversation - in a different thread.

My goad Jae ... have you ever inspected yourself in a mirror for the J' Zus syndrome?

You do appear to perceive yourself as God as persona of pure emotion that cannot know anything because of emotional bursts ... these tend to affect satyr-cursed thinkers in Christian perspectives ... they could rebound and cost you ...

Watch out for dark rabid spirits Jae ...

are you sure you know what imago Dei means? If so, explain how Trump's imago is superior to Clinton's. And explain why you would vote for Hitler if his competition had a worse imago.

Jae would vote for anyone with an image of power ... and power corrupts ... sometimes absolutely in those without thoughts on what is obvious to see'rs ... non-myopic as compared to blind faith!

We were all created in the image of God. The image of God Trump was created in is not superior to the image of God that Clinton was created in, and I never said otherwise Graeme. There is only one God who has created us all in his image. As for Hitler, I'm certainly willing to consider discussing him in a different thread.
