TRUMP - Some people think......... How do you feel?

Well it seems last weeks mass shootings are taking the usual course to oblivion with nothing being done about the gun laws.
To be fair, Trump seems to be targeted for most of the blame with all of his racist remarks while campaigning but the ever "can do no wrong" Obama is seen as a shining example that showed compassion during the Sandy Hook mass shooting. The bottom line is neither one created any gun laws that would eventually make a difference.....
The NRA seems to have an unstoppable hold on any president that is elected and for some reason all presidents consider the NRA's money that supports them as irreplaceable. Why is that? How can presidents give in to this evil influence without pursuing the greater good? Too bad those who support climate change didn't buy the presidents favour.
The NRA warns Trump(probably all the presidents before them too):

He walked it back anyway so what he says can’t be trusted. He’s prone to that. Your slavish devotion to a man, whose only consistency is that he lies daily, is perplexing. People on the left do care about the press not misleading. Trump only cares that they don’t print anything bad about him, even if it’s true. That’s dangerous to the free press and the people...especially to people like you @Pontifex Geronimo 13, as you don’t even question Trump and your devotion has become blind devotion. I’m not loyal to anyone in particular, but to a philosophy of equality, and compassionate justice, and how well a politician represents and stands by it. If Bernie flip flopped on his values all the time I wouldn’t trust him either...i’m done with the Clinton-Biden-Obamas now (but still think Obama was better than Trump because that’s not exactly a high bar. Nixon was better than Trump)...but Bernie’s been saying the same thing consistently since the 60’s and he’s been correct.

He was right back to being divisive...writing a nice headline hoping it is a good influence is like (but is less of a big deal than) giving Obama the Nobel peace prize and hoping he lives up to it...that wasn’t too wise afterall.

Trump never apologized for the send her back chants or roundly criticized his supporters for that, or had them escorted out. He smiled. He liked their enthusiastic chanting. He never apologizes for anything and he has much to apologize for. And even if he did...I would doubt its sincerity because I don’t think he can feel sorry.

What happens when the left is subjected to reality?
I imagine something like what history tells us about a passive population and the the rise of a totalizing power. Why did German Protestants, with the exception of a faithful remnant, support Hitler? He promised to make Germany great. As Herod promised to make Jerusalem great.

The faith of Abraham has been compromised and distorted by persons of power in all times and places. An easy example being the Crusaders of Medieval times massacring pagans in the name of Christ and under the sign of the cross. A current example being the diverse evangelical entrepreneurs, selling the blood of Jesus for profit and power.

Here are a few relevant lines from my prep for Sunday morning:

“The texts for this week notice the difference between prophets who question the exercise of power and prophets who support the way of power. Jeremiah makes plain that not all who speak in the name of God are truly representing God. We, who know the scriptures well, are aware that Jeremiah was not much appreciated in the courts of power.

Truth calling power into question is a key aspect of the Biblical revelation. We notice this in the Psalm. There is the notice of power abused and then the call to work for justice. Hebrews invites us to participate in the way of God and so make a difference in the earth. It also shows us that Jesus did not avoid the suffering that comes with truth telling. For this Jesus is raised to sit at the right hand of God; indicating his role as intercessor and redeemer. Then in Luke we notice Jesus has become aware of what is to happen to him because of his truth telling.

We, like persons in the time of Jesus, are called to be watchful as history draws to a critical change point. The key thing is to rightly interpret the signs of the times and act accordingly.”

And, in more recent times in North America - those in white hoods who burned crosses on front lawns and vandalized and terrorized communities of colour. They form a once quiet now rather brazen part of Trump's base. They aren't even shy about their bigotry.

One of Trump's administrators wants to change the sign on the Statue of Liberty to read "Bring us your poor huddled masses yearning to breathe free...if they can stand on their own two feet." !!! He says that applies to European immigrants! It's bold faced fascism.

The power of fear is overwhelming ... causing some of us to escape into the eternal story. Some even believe the story is the mind ... yet some believe neither story or mind-soul connections are real! Thus thought and knowledge is out of it ... fringe values on the razor's edge. I can almost see Jean sharpening the Guillotine ... a metaphor of Guilliam and wills! Thought follows behind as sheep in the myth ... latent as some syphilis type ... viral? RNA ... as POX!

Recall the dark night of the soul needs a small spark to lighten it ... match gURLs?

It's finally obvious. Trump is mentally ill. His suggestion to buy Greenland is bad enough. But his reaction to the refusal is far, far worse. This is a man with a dreadfully unbalanced ego. There is no telling where this might take us.

You must admit he's moving towards a promised land that is cool ... but heating up. Heis certainly different but not divine ... like malachite is not green but blue! Let us sing the blues because of our exposure to the promised land of lyres ... so as to encourage us to be interested in what politicians are really saying ...

Some one did this in a tune entitles: Sing Me a Sad Song ... and thus Let Me Sing A Song of Jesus ... subtle light? It is a deep legend of sorts ... then Hermes has a great myth about the light bearer ... Ayres? So many codes to unravel ... considering the volume and mass of what we don't know! Forms the opposite of delusion of grander and drives wisdom further underground ... as some god-like attributes in humanity desire ... as that in human mistake meant for learning ... isn't that divine to forgive the lesser powers? By Law only the powerful Judges are allowed to say who is insane ... raising questions about the partisan nature of I Thessalonians 5:21!

It is said there are some powers that say people shouldn't question delusional attributes ... i.e. god(s)! It appears these things are of the mind ... mythical thinking?

I do believe it is riotous thinking ... a racket in its own time!

Where is the evidence for those numbers he cites to support his claim that those countries are ripping off the US?

Yes, things are taken out of context. The bigger context (the history of a person) matters too

We live in a space-time ripple where physical dirt collects for ... fecundity for stuff to grow shoots to get out of the pit?

Reminds me of Jack and the Beanstalk ... then there is the ochre situation ... burned earth goals? Ochman wouldn't that heat the behind ... and the headman was overrun in a situation he didn't expect ... perhaps couldn't even accept with a limited (mortal) BS!

Gravid waves come and go like willies ...

He’s just citing trade deficits. If his numbers were wrong, they would have brought that up. Right at the beginning trump stated that most of them were fake news, and they do not disappoint. They took 5 words from all that he said, and spun it to mean that what he was really saying is that he is antisemite and a racist that’s gotta go.

I know it is practically impossible for most people to understand because they are bombarded with this all day long.

But slowly people awaken from their stupor. Fun to watch, but unbearably slow. And then there are those, who shall remain nameless, who are sooo indoctrinated that I think they may not be recoverable. Commios, if you will.

Some old sage said that we would think what we believe ... and some BS is hard to deny! It sticks as tacky ...

Hard to believe how some folks refuse to be fluid ... water the essence of soul ... in heated situations it rises like a fog over Merlin's caldron!

In winter of the soul it may be Isis, or flakey ... or in extreme heat plasmic in nature!

It is best to remain cool folks ... drink up!

Then there is folk lore without investigation into underlying stuff:

lore (countable and uncountable, plural lores)

  1. All the facts and traditions about a particular subject that have been accumulated over time through education or experience. quotations ▼the lore of the Ancient Egyptians
  2. The backstory created around a fictional universe.
Religion often demands that no questions be asked ... and thus the absence of something that we know not all that well!

Isn't that a curious emotional state to get louped into? Willies are like that ... once even known as rogers ... jolly as James Joy's ... right out of the bone box!

I'm not sure they would have brought up the numbers if they are wrong. If the purpose of "fake news" is spin, that would not be their main focus. Besides, numbers unfortunately make the average citizen's eyes glaze over. If entertainment is what keeps some organizations alive, they won't bore people with numbers. We're seeing a dumbing down of society.

My thing with this clip is his interpretation of the numbers. Really, they're using the US? How?

I know it is practically impossible for most people to understand because they are bombarded with this all day long.

You're right. And we're being bombarded with crap from both sides. Sadly, this is an age of spin isn't it. I won't go as far as to say that all media is fake news.

I'd like to see people from both sides awaken from their stupor. It's time to move beyond the polarized talk.

This domain in the greater cosmos was made for blind believers ... thus the darker side exists even if we do not believe that black is an abstract shadei-Dan ... some say Shaytan! Great to find when in an arid place ... burn'đ earth policy!

The people chosen to win will burn everything ...

What a caldron to stir ... see what meat is at the bottom 've Ide!
