TRUMP - Some people think......... How do you feel?

They were chanting "Lock her up" on the convention floor. That's not a political convention, it's an Ultimate Fighting championship. They sound bloodthirsty. I've never seen anything so obnoxious - even in any other U.S. Election year.

There will be chanting at the Democratic Convention too Kimmio, and much of it will be against Trump. I look forward to seeing if you identify the Democrats as sounding "bloodthirsty" at that time. I feel rather that the Republicans are indignant about what's happened to the country that they love and towards those who have thrust it out of its greatness. According to many of the Republicans, if Clinton were anyone else she would have been locked up for her actions, especially when it comes to her email scandal. I'm inclined to agree with them.

Maybe. She probably got off a bit easy. If she were not the main candidate against Trump, and the stakes were not so high, she may have been punished for it. I am inclined to think, though, that Hillary is capable of self reflection, redeeming herself and making her presidency about the people not all about her. I believe she has a better temperament and is less impulsive - and that Trump most likely has malignant Narcissistic Personality Disorder. He'd have to agree to a psych assessment to be sure, and that's not going to happen, but it's been pointed out as a strong possibility by doctors and psychologists - it's the sort of thing where he could do quite well in business and contain his harm and tantrums to the business realm, in dollar and cents disputes, but as a world leader, could be quite dangerous. The person who ghost-wrote his book "Art of the Deal" who got to know him very well says that he fears a Trump presidency would mean the end of civilization. Not a bad four years of government, not a few sandals, or a few really bad decisions - the end of civilization!

So... Someone who was careless with her emails and made a couple of mistakes as Secratary of State? Or the end of civilization? Those are the choices I see and it's pretty darn scary.

Monis ... success theology ... the fear mongering of a failing Germany reincarnated as Hitlerisms? Everything down here is about physical virtue ... metaphysical co-Kor-ein' soude 've it ... singular outside perspective ... from the excluded and ignored ...

Do the 30 shekels shine in the dark ... what does foreign intellect cost ... the stuff to learn is eternal ...

Don't you believe in pit Tae?

As an Fi-dom, I tend to be swayed by emotional, passionate speeches. If I was an American and the election was today, I'd vote Trump. That may well change after I hear the speeches from the DNC.

Many of the host of fallen species (mankind) are swayed more by emotions than intellects and in polity they don not accept mediums and thus the latter is abstract ... a dark veil?

If I understood you correctly Luce, I agree - it's important to discern things using both logical reasoning and personal values.

Can a billionaire fully understand the plight of the American people no matter how hard they say they can?

Which is really an issue with just about everybody who runs. Obama is really the only president of the last couple decades who even comes close to being an "ordinary American". Even with party backing, it is simply too expensive for anyone not in the 1 (or even .1) per cent to undertake.

Hillary, while not a billionaire property developer, is really no more qualified in this regard and has shown it many times. Her attitude simply drips entitlement (Expecting to be able to use your own mail server while working for the federal government? If I'd been Obama and known, I'd have told her to get with the program or leave.)

So if this is one of your qualifications for being President, you might as well not vote.

I'm rather glad I'm not an American citizen at this point. The best I can come up with is Gary Johnson of the Libertarians. Their Green Party makes ours look like moderates and the two big parties are both hip-deep in crap, even each has a different crap to deal with.

After 1929, pretty well all of the presidents were millionaires. Truman was the "poorest" millionaire". It's not a qualification but it seems to put someone out of touch with reality somewhat. A spectator with educated guesses so to speak.
I am just amazed that really hard questions aren't being asked by the American people and the media. Why is no one demanding solid answers to crucial elements facing the USA?

And have we fared much better, really? Chretien has been the only PM in my lifetime (so far) who came across as a "man of the people" and even he was quite well off by the time he made it into 24 Sussex.

No we haven't. I suppose it's just that it leaves out a whole segment of the population that could be just as qualified...maybe more so.
The problem with those with too much money is that they have "connections" and connections usually mean you don't always place the greater good over the needs of a few.

Elite ... entitled ... do such words have a smell about them?

Then wee people are not supposed to speak critically about the Mon archaist ...! So as arches may they be humped --- Sisyphus?

Tis substance beyond me ...

Fits in with Kant's expulsing in Criticism on Pure Logic ... cold logic is dissonant Freud-ism! Requires some light emotions and thus wee satyrs rise up as the understanding of Eris, a counter to Eros? Sort of like comparing pure ID to pure Egos ... we tend to suffer from the split in the medium ... schism ... non-understanding of abstraction? Then is there anything more frustrating to rigidly attached to reality and lack of virtue ?

WE could go on Eire like ... yet realists tend to me split on polity ... and as said by a famous satirist ... "never the East and west shall meet ..."

Can a woman writer have a novel with a full and vibrant male protagonist? Was Tolkien --a non elf --could he really write the elf experience? And so forth...

It's not even worth paying attention to. Nothing we can do about it. So I don't know why I am.
Because you find some adults n their rituals n behaviorz oddly interesting? :3

Do any of those examples have the potential to corrupt you?
Oh so youre making it a theoretical magical essence moral thing? :3 No one can answer that.
Note that waznt at all apparent in your original question?
Money and wealth is neutral.
We all have the capacity to lose our way.
I can look at your billionaire blind question in terms of BS...if we only stay within our BS then yes we cant see outside of our BS and thus be blind to outside problems
Id say that Donald as a successful businesman and persuader has to be able to see outside his own BS to see what and how other people want and behave...
Or something like that
