The thought occurs to me that it's possible that Donald Trump, Jr. is being willingly used as the fall guy to cover the ass of his father, Donald Trump, Sr. The e-mails set up the possibility of Trump, Jr. simply saying "I did it but dad knew nothing about it," which would give the Republicans cover for not acting on suspicions about The Donald. "Junior did it. Senior didn't know." That could be the Republican mantra for the next while.

Emails were Clinton's problem during the election, not Trump's.

Sorry, but there is no "left" of any significance in the United States, and anyone who thinks there is doesn't have much of a concept of "left." There are two parties, both right of centre according to the modern understanding and common usage of the word (one perhaps a little more than the other.)

The sad thing is that I think even a lot of Democrats have convinced themselves that they're "left." The truth is that the Democrats would basically blend in quite nicely with the Conservative Party here in Canada, and there really isn't a good equivalence in terms of policy here in Canada with the Republicans. To see this as "right-left" is silly. The American spectrum is "right-farther right."

Really, I think "...no morals" and "...no integrity" is a bit strong. Good to see his optimism though at the end.

Actually, lots of people pray who aren't liked by evangelicals. The real formula is much narrower: "if you oppose abortion and promise to appoint judges who will overturn Roe vs Wade, you're a good person."
