Greetings this fine Wednesday morning everyone!

Hey Omni - great to see you here at wondercafe2 - and especially "the room". Hope things are going well for you in your world.

A busy morning ahead . . . some church office volunteer work, a tea date, a few errands, groceries, and back to the cottage. And you, roomies . . . what does your day hold for you?

Rain, thunder and lightning on my way to work this morning. I just hope that the day stays cool so that it doesn't end up muggy by home time.

the OK is infested with hippy flies

not like the flies of On-tar-eye-oh

(tho here's an awesome encounter
-- alas, no nonhuman whales in the OK)

Good morning Room!

A beautiful, calm, serene sunny morning here!

Starting the day with hope and anticipation of a good day . . . for everyone!

And now it is evening ... everyone must have been out working & playing today :-) Or maybe the flies were keeping folks away! (reminder to self - pack bug spray for weekend trip)

I'm gathering a few things together this evening - tomorrow afternoon I'm off to a cottage with some women friends - looking forward to their company and a bit of relaxation away from the city, sunsets over Lake Erie, laughter, reading, cooking & eating & drinking together. I will however be getting up very early on Sunday to get back home for church as it is our minister's last Sunday with us & we're having a luncheon after church which will be fun. So I will have to tiptoe out and not disturb the sleeping beauties!

We just had a big storm in the city. Trees are down(one in my granddaughter's back yard from her neighbour) Rain Lightening, It has stopped now. Hope it is over for the night.

Have a good time Carolla.

Can be a big job to clean-up after a storm like that, crazyheart . . . hope granddaughter has lots of help. We are supposed to get rain through the night, but not sure about any lightning or thunder.

Good night one and all in the room!

Inanna - how old is your father? I read your account of your walk. It sounds like something I would have enjoyed ten years ago. Now I can't do much more than 1/2 klm or so, especially on the up-hill.

wow, my Son inlaw went to pick up CrazyDaughter from work. He was gone 20 minutes. Got home and their neighbours tree was across their driveway where he and CrazyGrandson park.

Ack. For once I'm glad at the lack of mature trees in my neighbourhood (this happened in my old neighbourhood in Hamilton once, though).
