I haven't upgraded because I don't want to lose my $40/month plan... I'd rather have laughable technology than an empty bank account.

Hate it when they do that. We really need a more competitive environment here. Not sure what it is like right now, but I used to see billboards along I-75 through Detroit advertising all you can eat (ie. unlimited) plans for that much.

Mine's a corporate phone so I kind of got it shoved at me :D (though, technically, as the IS manager, I was also the one doing the shoving :cool:).

mine is essentially unlimited for what I would use. Top 10 numbers (in my case, all long distance within Canada) free, unlimited text... I've never gone over my local calling nor data usage so I don't even know what those limits are anymore.
I don't use it for data much partially because the Windows software is terrible but mostly because I've never found it that important to carry the Internet around in my purse. I mostly use it for settling arguments on IMDB or checking my email.

Was reading one of Hildegard von Bingen's works (Scivias - Vision #5) and passed right out. Ah well, back to Systematic Theology. :)

There is nothing systematic about theology ... it is all random and flighty as angels in dark and white ... Michael and Gabriel?

Allows extreme deviance ... biological variance ? Is that the word?

I must be the only one here wwho sits in a den by a big desk-top compputer and types with my fingers resting just above the a,s,d,f,j,k,l,;
and my phone is plugged into the wawll.
I type that way at times too, although I sit in my private study.

Hm - I dent know about that one Luce. The peculiar pie I'm working on it a paper on the object - where it God when there are natural dieters? Oh far my main idea - God don't caw natural dieters. At leaf not dirty. Rather, they are a route of the Fall of humanity.

I'm actually suffering right now with a lap top instead of the big screen monitor I'm used to, while I wait for a tech-savvy child to help me purchase a new desktop. And although I have both a phone in the wall and a cell phone, the one attached to the wall is the one that I can generally find...

Yes and indeed they fell for it ...

Tis the nature of a myth about things we don't know ... thus we imagine!

The abstract is a good place to go to experience manifestations of this sort ... have a good rest Jae ... they are as good as a change the old axiom states! Thus the incarnate soul swells with nothing only kohl thoughts of shadowy, autonomous, non-things .. a triple or Trinitarian negative mental conjuration ... pure occult ... or from the occidental side ?

What is the oriented side of the abstract portion of mine'd ... can you conjure that up?

My phone and smartphone are both pluggedin right now..(grin) though the smartphone just was nearing dead battery.
I am sitting with my fingers hovering over a keyboard; however, it is the one to my tablet. so...I could be at a desk with a very traditional setup with the use of a docking station, but, i can also sit with it on my lap..with or without keyboard. I know, too many options.

YoungestSon is a reservist. Emails are sent out when there are positions to be filled such as people who can speak arabic.
He received a call today about being put on the short list for operations..which means 1 to 2 days notice.
The reservists have a role in the refugee processes.

I am beginning to think that I may have neither son here for Christmas.

I'm on a computer right now (a laptop but I've got it hooked up external monitor/keyboard/mouse so I'm effectively using it as a desktop). I still prefer it for typing though I suppose if I bought a decent keyboard for our tablet/phone, I'd trying using them for it more.

My home phone is plugged in but it is not a traditional phone. It's a cordless with the base plugged into my home network so it can connect to my VOIP (voice over Internet) provider.

.

Better gig, I suspect, that than the son of a woman I know. He got called up to serve in Afghanistan a few years back before we withdrew.

I use a laptop most of the time I am here. I do find it quicker to use the tablet for pictures, rather than transfer them over. I tend to type less then. My spacing also gets weird, like I can't easily add another sentence to a paragraph if I've already hit enter.
I don't think I've used my phone to access WC2. My typing there is mostly to send a text message. I also write lists on my phone, it's much more convenient than holding onto multiple pieces of paper that I have dig through to find, especially when it's not something I expect to do all in one day.

Last year I got some snowflake lights, they could be for indoor or outdoor use. We both wanted them in the window upstairs, it adds some light when Chemguy won't go up to the 2nd storey outside. He didn't know how to best set them up though. I was pretty sure the dollarstore had suction cup hooks.
Sure enough they did - for those looking for something similar look around. There were some with the Christmas stuff - all plastic with 'hooks' being straight plastic sections. The hardware section has the ones with the metal hooks in the J shape, multiple sizes.

I go to the dollarstore quite a bit for Christmas items, in years past it was mostly for bags and tissue paper. In the past 5 years or so I started finding really nicer stuff - tins, boxes, wine charms, etc. Shopping early became important. Once I had an exchange and knew the person would love the wine charms. Shopping in late October they were already gone from multiple stores, I had my Mom get them in another city for me.

This year I've been disappointed, nothing really new and even some of the things I wanted more of weren't being sold. Until I went last night! I ended up with bags of stuff and I went in planning on grabbing the suction cups and maybe a few other items. They have been stocking much later it seems!

Let's hope that doesn't happen! My daughter might have to work days on Christmas. She's the one with the 6 year old...and they live with us. She so badly wants someone to trade a shift with her. Both of our boys are still iffy about their schedules. One is getting his wisdom teeth out a couple days before Christmas. And the other works in a mine up north, and isn't sure if he can work his schedule to have the right days off. We'll celebrate whenever we get a few of us gathered together.

Pinga-if you know in time- you can opt for an earlier or later christmas-or change your traditions to something new so you won't feel the ache as much. May they both be safe whatever happens I know one is an EMT on the East Coast.
