The highway by us is closed once again due to a severe accident. Beautiful day. Dry pavement.
The speedlimit is 80km/h. In the spot of the accident, it just gets to be 2lanes each way.
Not unusual to be going 90 and passed like you are standing still.
There are businesses, driveways and roads going off. it's busy.

In the last two weeks, on our road, which crosses that highway, we have had two single car accidents.
Both at night.
One went off multiple times, and eventually ended up down in the ditch. had to kick a window out to get out. that person had a souped up japanese make car.
the other was a sedan that somehow went off, hit a rock and then ended up on it's roof on the road.
Our road is 50km/h.
People like to race around our s-bend.

sigh.
i wish people would pay attention and slow down.

I lost a tab two years ago which exposed a nail head. I went up to smear tar on it to buy us a year. It bought us two years. Still no leaks, but it's time. You can see it's about done and while I was up there two years ago the shingles were releasing granules and trying to kill me.

Once again, there are a bunch of people praying for a certain outcome, but they aren't doing it right. Maybe pray on one foot? Cross your toes? Experiment some more.

Highway 10 from Shelbourne through Owen Sound is full of Mennonites on buggies. It's downright scary how close people will go by horses, at speed. Families have been wiped out. I don't pass unless I can get a couple meters away, and I slow down to make that pass. I feel like the only one.

People try to pass me while I pass the buggy.

Then again, I did once see a young Mennonite driving his buggy with a cell phone in his hand. That ticket would be interesting to explain.

Yet there those that say the quick are more sane ... the most sane in case of wild emotional activity?

Its irrational ... like chariot racing in places ...
