That system is passing south of us. I'm off to Hamilton to clean the pool and fill in that garage floor through which I fell last week. Rain should be gone by 11.

Oo, vibes on the poison ivy one. I'd think you would have symptoms by now, though, if it was Saturday. Then again, I have no experience with the stuff beyond seeing it in the wild occasionally while hiking and stuff.

Now
Last week of school for our kiddos
Garden watered by nature overnight
Sunday's full of ball and family
Cool nights for sleeping
So far no poison ivy from my face plant in the patch on saturdy

All good
Now if you fell into nettle like I did once, you would have the immediate gratification of expected pain. I was riding a path through the woods on my mtn bike years ago and failed to negotiate a sudden bend. I was thrown into a large patch of them. The worst was I was wearing shorts.

My neighbour just told me we are to get a rainstorm here Tuesday to Wednesday- must be what is coming from you guys.

NS is still nice and green, we have had rain just at the right time this year.

I am going to work from home tomorrow! I signed up for the retirement course, which is a full day event, and I am allowed to do it at home. February 1 st 2028 is my planned date.

I have had a busy, productive, but rather physically damaging couple of days. The dead grape vines have been pulled from my old maple tree, but I've had a few accidents in the process. Today, the big guy at least insisted on supervision and help, and the job got finished. My arms look like I've been through the wars, but all bleeding has stopped, lol. Standing near the top of a 6' ladder wrestling with ancient dead grape vines is not a job for the faint of heart. Today, I had a spotter and a puller; went very well. Yesterday, I was on my own, and the air got a bit blue.

Mrs. A., if I'd stayed another six months, I would have got a second microscopic diamond chip on my gold pin with one of them. The mid-management boss they foisted on me made it not worth the chip. Looking forward to hearing of your plans for your free time!

Two reasons to go seven months beyond my 65 th:
I will be 30 years in Canada by the end of January- I will only get partial Canada pension, because you have to have been 40 years in Canada, but if you go in the middle of the year they don’t count it.
Secondly, the pension base year gets adjusted usually January 1st. It lags 2-3 years behind our wages, so I want to catch the recent increases for retirement. Living on one income, I need to catch every dollar I can get.
What I am planning to do- certainly will find a volunteer job. The local Red Cross office for equipment loans is keen on me starting there, I know all the volunteers because we (OTs) usually provide them with a nice lunch at Christmas time.
I have also read that the CNIB is looking for drivers, but haven’t looked into this yet.
And then there is Pickle all and baby sitting.
And the weeds in my garden.

Good morning! So much talk about retirement and pensions that Redbaron quit. May we find topics of conversation today that don't make us all sound so old. Perhaps the new slang or the e-scooter craze that has kids unable to pedal 10ft. Anything but pensions, compression socks and bingo strategies, please. I finally got the hang of the coffeemaker but refuse to make tea on humanitarian grounds. The Wonderbaker has similarly retired and left a...tin of biscuits? Rude. Anyway, come join us old folk as we navigate retirement packages and denture creams. Come join the...err...fun?

I was pakaged off into some service jobs that included socializing with stressed folk, supporting a B&B and administering a Cemetery ... very diverse work and learning opportunity ... there are people that do not value such opportunities with the greater (social) world ... but it is a critical detail in life ... connections with all sides?

That was a classic message ... right from the downhill slider ... very slick! At one time the word pole meant slick and the interpretations there are phenomenal.

Aliexpress Redbaron?

All away, or "alla way" into the shadows of ham ... a bit of joust from the depths of heaven? Pelagic ... is a great spread of whetting ... thus sharpening something or other's wit ... thorn's ... points ... peaking! Discussions with the ultimate ... expressions ...

Doesn't sound like a boring retirement for you.

Volunteer drivers would be wonderful here. I just cancelled a cariology appt because I couldn't find a driver. My partner is usually up for that but is too sore and tired to help this time. I dream of clear vision and driving!
