Room For All

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

A community where we discuss, share, and have some fun together. Join today and become a part of it!

Good morning! The weekend is here. Hope whatever plans you have for it are working well.
0 Degrees here, and looks like the temperature will sink to about -8. Yay. But no precipitation in the forecast today, which is nice. We gather round the Coffee Cart today for chat, support, and camaraderie; as ell as coffee and tea, and those marvelous baked goodies that the Wonderbaker always produces. This Saturday morn we find fruit turnovers of several varieties: apple, cherry, blueberry, and strawberry. The tea water is boiling, and the coffee freshbrewed. The turnovers are warm and flakey. All is ready, everyone is welcome. Come in and join in the chats!

If it doesn't stand down, or come down are we a rid of the wettings? Without Moon River a different cat ... some folk appreciate a dandy moonbeam ... these may form a tattoo under the trees ... and dance to beat the ban ... out until sunrise? The shadowy incarnations that weep out of that Wahl ... purple shades? UN speak Ables ...

Good morning! Happy March! Not exactly making a leonine entry here, but a cm or so of snow, and -7 the temp, a bit colder than the last few days here. But still feels tending more to spring than back to winter. How are you all?
The Room is open for our conversations around the Coffee Cart, to build community and camaraderie over coffee and tea, and the delicious Kaffeecake that the baker has provided today. The tea water is boiling, the coffee freshbrewed. and the cake warm and fresh. All is ready, and everybody is welcome. Come on in, relax, have some refreshments, and join in the chat!

Can the room be really open when there are so many determined to close ranks ... the entire item drifts toward limitations!

Another in and out of it experience for those following for the vision ... do not Chloe's in ... for obvious reason! Delightful Charon ... Moonlight and Erose and all that ... the unrevealed is getting that feeling ... does it spread when the lights are low ... das dahs 'adow ... results in addling ... sphinx Eire ... the tightening portion ... then pulsation! It is like a ripple effect ...

Some thing to jamb about in the room ... friendly take over of Cu Ba ... Que Ba'd as a friend amongst enemies?

Alien mix ... strange friends may result in friction if no con descension ...

Is this likely? Pure hypo thet IHX ... mores to be read into as boggy ... unalters ysm as universe goes for a round (tu*rin) ...

Mores for pound Erin ... c-brae'z ...

Good morning! Time to rise and shine! It seems after today in this area, we have a warming trend coming in the weather. 'Twould sure be nice.
Anyway, the Room is ready to host our conversations today, so let's chat, support, and connect in community. Tea, coffee, and baked goods will help improve our moods on a dreary Monday morning. The Wonderbaker has baked some wonderful crumpets for us to enjoy. The tea water is a-boil, the coffee is freshbrewed, and crumpets are nice and warm. Everybody is welcome, come join the fun!

What's to talk about when the powerful controllers prefer curtailing and censure ... thus sense Sur goes down ... demi-god will be on top of tha t' role ... all under the celestial dome!

As we lose languages we lose depth ... especially of the jousting's ... consider the roasting in Texas ... some declare it can't just be ... but there it is ... coming at Yah ...

Good morning! Tuesday is about to dawn. Once again we gather round the Coffee Cart, for conversation, support, and solidarity. We do it over tea and coffee, as well as the Wonderbaker's works. This morning, the WB chose savoury over sweet; providing us with spring rolls, with appropriate sauces. They are delicious, by the way. The tea water is boiling, the coffee freshbrewed, and the rolls are nice and warm, as well as having a wonderful aroma. All is ready, everyone is always welcome. Come on in, relax, eat, drink, and join the conversations!

Spring rolls along as Mae be noted in the efforts of de moralization through the bombing of schools ... it detracts from thought, knowledge and all that ...

We aren't much of conversation lately. I think we are finding weighed down by a winter that seems unending, and shovel bending. But it's supposed to be a bit warmer over the next few days.

Surgery is booked for March 17....a nasty hiatus hernia that is causing a few issues. And it's a tough surgery...will need a hospital stay and a long recovery. It isn't the laparoscopic version, which would be easier on me. Mixed feelings about this, of course. Surgery comes with warnings.

Spring rolls sound like a lovely choice this morning. . A change from sweet things..
The weather seems to be stuck in gloomy around here. Repeated bouts of drizzly snow gets stale after many days.

That doesn't sound like a pleasant thing to anticipate. . It isn't surprising that you have mixed feelings. Sometimes I am amazed by surgeries with a quick release from the hospital. Heck, even removing an appendix involved a significant period with nursing care. Maybe St. Patrick will protect you and provide good healing.

Hope everything goes well for you Nancy ....life sure comes with its challenges doesn't it? Hugs.

Ouch @Nancy . May surgery go smoothly, and healing happen without event.

Lots of leftovers in the room from the previous two days. Thanks.

Been fighting a cold. Slept over 14hrs yesterday -- a long nap in the afternoon, then early to sleep at night. sorry that i wasn't in the room.

We are getting snow again over night, something like 15 cm. Alexa says it will turn into rain at 7 am while the Weather network says it will just stop and not rain. Lets hope the latter is right.
We had a lunar eclipse this morning just when I got up. Cool thing to watch. It was -17 this morning feeling like -22. I agree- we are quite worn n out by winter ( maybe except chansen). It’s week 5 of my cold and I am still not over it.

Skiers did well this winter, though we froze. We're heading into our last weekend of race training. March Break camp is just over a week away, if Zach does it. I'm not coaching it. I'm looking forward to skiing with my wife and not having to be at the hill for 8 anymore.

I cleared a lot of snow this winter, for us and our neighbours. One set of neighbours are in rough shape, so I do all their clearing now. Zach helped shovel their porch a couple weeks ago, and she came out with an envelope for him with $100 in it. I tried to tackle her to prevent the gift, but she got by me. I'm told gifts of cash are common for Chinese New Year.

Zach thanked her very much.

I do a couple other driveways to be nice, half hoping that they may reciprocate on weekends when we're away and come home to a little snow. It almost never happens, but dare to dream, I guess.

Good morning! We made it through to mid-week. We think about the transitioning season, as winter reluctantly loosens its grip and as spring starts to take hold. The skiing season is running its course. The date for surgery is set, and I do hope it goes as smoothly and 'event-free' as possible. A recovery as quickly and as smoothly as possible!
We gather around the Coffee Cart with these thoughts, as well as others to chat about. may our conversations be hopeful and helpful, as we support each other and connect with each other, over coffee and tea and baked goodies. This morning, besides a few leftovers, the Wonderbaker has provided bear claws for us. The tea water is ready, coffee is freshbrewed. Pastries are warm and soft. All is ready, everybody is welcome. Come in and join us!

Thus we wobble through the one word (universe) that contains all ... and some people say they know all about it ... but I counter that from experience with administrators supporting dark matter ... don't take it personally ... I point to a much greater power of expectation ... those out of their pool! Ineffable or in a metaphor unspeakable as the bosses wish us to be quiet about the Eire that's hidden ... funny thing in a pun jab ... a thorn?

Like a bed ero ces ... Cysts? C'est la ... i.e. ... that's it ... just word that's all there is if you don't know how much a word can mean to an overlooker ... seers? Blinded by dark matters in rejected science ... just observation!

Dizzying? It doth go round ...
