Can one imagine that the saints are wise while the living are alternate?

Is that an insane statement about those presently beyond our understanding? The ancients once honored those that have passed through a troublesome life ... like a wee wooden man ... a small folk in a tree gathering as much as possible of d' elite!

Zacchaeus as a bother, or concern ... gnome? If you gnome ... maybe avoid 'M ... because of the wooden heart? Totem along ...

Is it peculiar that an ancient Semitic word for wisdom resembled d' eathe, or d' Earth as the muck flies ... driven through space by forces we cannot begin to imagine as what else; dark, mysterious as the night?

That also is a word ... in Nordic a Nott! Many get entangled during this period ... and fin themselves without thought ... just blown away by circumstances! Note that in the log ...

I still have thoughts.

My turn!

Good late Monday morning. The coffee is on and may be spilling because I forgot to put the pot underneath the machine. Sorry. I also burnt the biscuits and cookies. I don't drink tea, but if you insist I think there is some in the cupboard that dates back to Chretien.

From learning that InstaPots aren't portable loos, to learning that dog blankets are exactly as clean as we had feared, may we all learn something new this Monday.

Good morning. We're of to Vancouver this morning. Our in-house weatherman reports it is supposed to be sunny today and tomorrow. We'll see. All arrangements have been made for things like dog sleepover with friends, rides, accommodations, etc. Just the implementation is left. This will be our first time using this particular ferry. It makes it so much easier. About an hour from downtown to downtown, instead of at least two hours, including bus rides and such.

When you write, "The kettle is boiled," my mind imagines a kettle melted down in a crucible.

I'm not entirely sure what is wrong with me.

Is anyone sure of what is wrong with the system other than it doesn't work as everyone would like?

Some leaders wish it would work different than a lot of us other's would like ...

Seems to resemble the serendipity item ... not everything can be pleased!

Excellent news Nancy.

We were able to check into our B&B early. It's very nice. Our room is thankfully on the ground floor. I could do the second, but ground is so much better. We just grabbed a snack from a Turkish café and bakery nearby. Very yum. Now to relax until we meet our friends later.

Geez. Bless my husband's twisted little heart. He apparently told our friends we'd meet them at the restaurant. The walk from the ferry to the street was a hike. Then, we walked a short distance to the café. I'm done. Anyway, he's on the phone discussing logistics. They have a Camaro. We'll be squeezed in. We're among friends, so cozy is fine.

Porsche, Camaro ... what's with you and sports cars these days? :giggle:

I mean, I'm living the life

Damn. I slept in

Runs around finding the coffee and getting it on.

Teapots are out, whoosh. Kettle is on.

Looks like there is a bunch of leftover baked goods so take your pick. (Also some interesting ones from a Turkish bakery)

Thankfully no melted kettles.

It's been a busy room with talks if new ferries, sportscars and also the relief from a family members good biopsy result.

May everyone's day go well

Well I'm waiting my turn to get my bloodwork at BC Cancer in Vancouver. I'm surprised I can move today after all the walking I did yesterday. It was a slog to get here. After this, I have to figure out how to get to my appointment next door at VGH. It's a big complex.

Can you get a volunteer to take you? Even accept a wheelchair ride?

I spent so much time at VGH for various reasons, I can picture it. Most things were in the newish Jim Pattison Pavillion, or Diamond Centre across the street - both big buildings. Where do you have to go? I guess you’re probably already there. Hope it goes well.
