Good morning! Happy Wednesday! A brief discussion yesterday about what volunteering means, sometimes heated, which has now been diverted to a new thread. This morning we gather round the Coffee Cart, for coffee and tea. Today we also have doughnut holes/Timbits of assorted varieties to enjoy.

Is there room for such things or can they be denied and eliminated as a lot of distasteful thought and intelligence?

From the other view a lot of desire, etc. is hidden in that strange tree ... it used to be intelligent and is now only a table ... everything placed in distinct order ... the matters chiseled into the topside and unchangeable are phenomenal ... great slab of things gone by ...

8:30 meeting and my presentation was first on the agenda. Ugh. At least I woke up in good time and breakfast was quick. Boss(es) liked it so I'm happy. Now just to deal with the (bleeped out for several paragraphs) who think they can reproduce a complex corporate system in 18 months using AI. Life is never boring in IT, or at least whenever it gets boring, poop happens to liven things up.

Oo, that's almost getting shivery for me. 15-25 is kind of my comfort zone. Higher and I sweat buckets. Lower and I'm grabbing jackets.

Does deregulation amount to providing power un governmental activity without responsibility if corporate?

Can they designate themself untaxable and free for lunching? Would the folk set out of sight then to lunch on them in return via a darker market system. In integral cycle this will accelerate because of malfunctioning restrictions ... but I am told this is unspeakable by the populace ... so saith the gods of economy when set free ...

If you say it outside the rules of gray Mere ... few will grasp because of difference or divine spltz ... them 'salle gory that slips by as a literary device for squeezing in tight domains coming in 2 forms one gode and one bade ... 4 bode and prescient ...

None thought about it ... because such is declared by those topside in thin Ayre ... higher than the tree line ... assisting the elimination of such (thought, I means)!

Don't do that they say screws up the future of AL and Archon ... tis like a stick, rod, or cane needing a use ... something has to be beat?

Attending Science Ready day at waterloo. Fun being on a campus again. Talked to the nanoscience students. Complained that I could see them. One groaned, the other couldn't stop laughing. My work here is done.

We were away for a week and back home catching up on cleaning and gardening. Today I am exhausted. Part of our away time included my husband going to Sudbury Emergency by ambulance and an 8 hour wait for a catheter change and an antibiotic prescription. Thank goodness the rest of the trip was great.

Sorry to hear of hospital trip Nancy. Wishing your hubby well.

My hubby just told me that he heard it feels like 36 and I should stay inside.

I had my regular appointment at the cancer clinic today. I had scans on Thursday they show improvement. I'm generally good with "stable" . Improvement is much better. Hopefully it lasts for a while yet.

Early morning presentations, trip to the Sudbury ER, scans showing 'improvement!', Science Ready day, and all the other stuff that goes on comes with us to the Coffee Cart for chat, support, and connection. Today with the tea and coffee, we have butter tarts. The tea water is hot, coffee is freshbrewed, and butter tarts are pleasantly warm. Everything is ready, everyone is welcome. @Northwind I'm thankful for oncologists with lots of meds in their toolkit and the chemists who create them

Glad to read about the improvement. As you say, stable would be good but improvement is better
