I like that the Baron supports small local businesses. His neighbours.
Is that like eL Yam?View attachment 10685
How about a Banana Potato?
I know, I know that many people love this stuff. My breakfast included Red River Cereal with frozen local blueberries. I was delighted that the cereal was available in our local grocery store. It was also great to support a great business from the area where I grew up.
I really like Red River cereal. There must be others in the area who do too because it is available in one of our grocery stores. My breakfast included Red River Cereal with frozen local blueberries. That's how we used to eat oatmeal porridgeWe ate it when I was a child. I liked it with brown sugar.
Tried it once. It tasted not unlike sand to meI really like Red River cereal. There must be others in the area who do too because it is available in one of our grocery stores.
You're a good person, sorry to hear about all the problems. Enjoy your wine!Birdseed for sure.
Bit of a difficult day. On my way to get passenger #1 for bible study, heard a noise, and suddenly car felt wyrd. Suspected flat tire. Drove the few yards to Rina's, confirm diagnosis, inform passenger #2 that we'll be a bit late, and head backwards to gas station with air. It's $2.50 for air these days. It was free, then a dime, then a quarter, but $2.50? Anyway tire filled up (and appears to be lasting, hit a deep pot hole in my low profile tires, that probably did it), grab #2 and head to church, where everything is running late anyway, leaders have changed, etc. At 1:00, picked up broken wristed neighbour to take her to an appointment and drove home to wait for her. An hour and a half later, go pick her up. On way home, clutch behaves oddly, and a bad smell arises, I drop her home, text the big guy to say there's something wrong but no answer, so I drove to his house, and there's clearly a problem. He calls mechanic who is booked until Monday, but I can't leave it in his driveway, so I get CAA to take it over there. While the tow truck is there, he manages to lock my keys in the car. So I have to take the big guys' truck to my house to get spare keys, whose fob battery is dead, which causes its own complications. I tell tow truck guy just to give spare keys to Brad and he'll figure it out. Just thinking of having a relaxing evening when we realize it's Ash Wednesday, passenger #2 is going to need a ride, so evening is sorta shot. I'm home, the car is safe, the wine is helping, and the big guy has signed on to chauffeur me for a few days (although, realistically, I often drive his car, so we'll be sorta car sharing). I can totally walk to work; it's rides home I need more; that friggin' hill after a five hour shift is VERY steep.
I know it's just a car, but I drive a LOT of people around (okay, well only 3-4 regularly, but I'm often needed), and so being car-less inconveniences more than me.
That's crazy bette.
Hope not too $$$
Good morning! Banana bread and Red River cereal, and fun with driving and car repairs and locked keys, and all the other frustrations and joys we go through in a day! We bring what happened yesterday, and what comes up today, to the Coffee Cart. We chat and offer support, while drinking coffee and tea, and enjoying crumpets (usually a tea- thing, but they work with coffee, too.). The coffee is fresh brewed, tea water boiling, crumpets fresh from the oven. All is ready, all are welcome! Come join the fun!
