I like that the Baron supports small local businesses. His neighbours.

Alternate agendas may include plans to club the entire thing into submission so all intellect is ... what else: underground!

Is that subtle or hypo? Who was hypo crates packaged as??? Bach car willies ... if God is word ... are we verboten to play with it? Messy,? Well most human relations are ...

My breakfast included Red River Cereal with frozen local blueberries. I was delighted that the cereal was available in our local grocery store. It was also great to support a great business from the area where I grew up.

I find 12 grain cereal is similar and achieves similar result of planting seeds! Thus cede Eire, or ÆRa in the case of those not finding the time portal ... mysterious place ... like a hole in space! --- Steven Hawking!

I know, I know that many people love this stuff.
For me, it is like eating birdshot, or what I imagine eating bird shot is like.

I really like Red River cereal. There must be others in the area who do too because it is available in one of our grocery stores.

Birdseed for sure.

Bit of a difficult day. On my way to get passenger #1 for bible study, heard a noise, and suddenly car felt wyrd. Suspected flat tire. Drove the few yards to Rina's, confirm diagnosis, inform passenger #2 that we'll be a bit late, and head backwards to gas station with air. It's $2.50 for air these days. It was free, then a dime, then a quarter, but $2.50? Anyway tire filled up (and appears to be lasting, hit a deep pot hole in my low profile tires, that probably did it), grab #2 and head to church, where everything is running late anyway, leaders have changed, etc. At 1:00, picked up broken wristed neighbour to take her to an appointment and drove home to wait for her. An hour and a half later, go pick her up. On way home, clutch behaves oddly, and a bad smell arises, I drop her home, text the big guy to say there's something wrong but no answer, so I drove to his house, and there's clearly a problem. He calls mechanic who is booked until Monday, but I can't leave it in his driveway, so I get CAA to take it over there. While the tow truck is there, he manages to lock my keys in the car. So I have to take the big guys' truck to my house to get spare keys, whose fob battery is dead, which causes its own complications. I tell tow truck guy just to give spare keys to Brad and he'll figure it out. Just thinking of having a relaxing evening when we realize it's Ash Wednesday, passenger #2 is going to need a ride, so evening is sorta shot. I'm home, the car is safe, the wine is helping, and the big guy has signed on to chauffeur me for a few days (although, realistically, I often drive his car, so we'll be sorta car sharing). I can totally walk to work; it's rides home I need more; that friggin' hill after a five hour shift is VERY steep.

I know it's just a car, but I drive a LOT of people around (okay, well only 3-4 regularly, but I'm often needed), and so being car-less inconveniences more than me.

You're a good person, sorry to hear about all the problems. Enjoy your wine!

That's crazy bette.

Hope not too $$$

My friend does it. He orders parts, I pick up and pay for (and I get his mechanic's discount) and deliver, usually with a meal. He charges me a very reasonable hourly rate based on actual hours. He's a really good mechanic with his own shop in his landlord's barn, but he lives out of town and doesn't drive, so the big guy and I feed him a bit and ferry him around occasionally. He looks after both of our cars.

Commercial garage would run me +1K for a clutch; this will be in the hundreds, but still *sigh*.

Good morning! Banana bread and Red River cereal, and fun with driving and car repairs and locked keys, and all the other frustrations and joys we go through in a day! We bring what happened yesterday, and what comes up today, to the Coffee Cart. We chat and offer support, while drinking coffee and tea, and enjoying crumpets (usually a tea- thing, but they work with coffee, too.). The coffee is fresh brewed, tea water boiling, crumpets fresh from the oven. All is ready, all are welcome! Come join the fun!

Still some declare we shouldn't WOKE tuit ... verboten ... ote'n ought to put it to word!

Thus basic restful world get pummeled ... by what? Stupid, hard materialism ... prodigal snakes ... adder up ... go for the integral! Alternate totalitarianism ... when it all converts to a quantum gas ... plasma, or other piroplasm? The essence of seance? Something to do with the MOG's sister ... ante up Margaret!

I's ME again ... sole examiner posing as a question ...

Sorry to hear your vehicle woes. Hope you get things sorted out without draining your bank account.
I sometimes think of my parents wo never had a car. Life was difficult then too, but in different ways. Once when I was sick as a 'big girl' my dad carried me to the Dr's office. It would have been easier with a car!
