Good morning! Happy whatever the holiday is called where you live! Snow and cold, online church services and many cancellations, DST rearing up again in a couple of weeks, all this and more from today, we bring to the Coffee Cart to discuss, as well as drink coffee and tea, and indulge in muffins of many different varieties. Muffins are warm, tea water boiling, and coffee is fresh brewed. Come in when you can, and join the conversations! All is reasy, all are welcome.

China is the same. I hate the time change thing more and more every year. It's like an involuntary hour of jet lag with no fun trip. I don't handle lag as well as I did in my 30s and 40s. There's some will to change but it is moving slowly.

Good morning. Probably need one more pass with the shovels. Supposed to be just flurries now going forward but colder (-10C today, -21 with wind chill).

Is terrorism a necessary part and parcel of national bull? Can you outline the syndrome?

Shovelled out again. Hopefully this is it for a bit. Supposed to be just flurries, though they are warning about blowing so maybe have to clear a drift if one forms.

Progress made on a new story. It's for a competition with a short deadline so I need to get it done quickly. Flash, though, so max. 1000 words. Unfortunately, my draft is at c. 1300. Editing time!!
 
No snow today, and the ATV/plow did its work yesterday, and the day before. We have a bunch, and it starts to creep into the parking area in front of our garage. Efforts today is to push it further out of the way.
We had the grandkids on on Saturday, and Sunday, and had a delightful day, including even grandma tobogganing . (We have a long sloping driveway, so makes a good hill for sledding)
i'll offer up double-chocolate cookies , banana muffins and banana chocolite chip muffins -- enjoy. of course, they are still warm.
 
Stay warm Kay. Hunkering down inside is a good plan for days like that. I don't miss those temps.

I've seen photos of the snow in Ontario. Holy cow! Stay warm friends.

It is rainy and dreary here. Our snow is disappearing. Today will involve some puttering around with the vacuum and such. Tidy up before they clobber me again on Friday.
 
I did some serious vacuuming, including getting into corners that don't get done every time. I bought a new vacuum cleaner a little while ago and it's amazing. I had a bit of a discussion with it trying to pull it apart and reconfigure it. I figured it out. So, the vacuuming plus the discussion wore me out a bit. Still, it felt good to have the energy to do it. :)
