Back to shoveling this morning. Probably another 8-9" overnight. Plow buried my garbage can and green bin. Still have more to do but taking a break to have breakfast and rest. The snow is fairly heavy.

Snow remember that that flaky matter is said to be cause of heart di seize ... and then it stopped!

There is a story attached to some mythical essence that it may be related to certain steroids, cortisone and other endogenous materials giving further rise to query about endogeneity! Genetics, endogenous stuff and connections to the physicality are complex according to some forensic pathologists ... they generally don't bother you until everything rests; nothing left?

There's a song about nothing left to lose ... let Luce like time in a bottle! Get the beat ... it's out there ... no*elle said the the one that wouldn't have it ...

So initiated the dark and stormy night routine with thumps ... beyond that we know little about the source ... it was dark!

Folk lie about in it ... buffaloed ... especially about the poke and nudge ... once instigated they fell 4-ide ... fore horse men only ... yeomen? Ominous ... potentially night riders ...

If yah don't know about Ja HSus make belief ... folk expect some sort of belief so they can challenge it ... baffle eM with nothing ... they'll never regard it ...

Unsightly caveat? Like a red flag ... yet that never stopped much ... it continues as they say ... it goes on ... ultimately!

So they got intuit ... what? Yep made nonsense ... thus those weird chuckles in deep space ... chuck 'd ...

Prayers to the car gods may be in order today. Hubby went to use it yesterday and it didn't start. He put the charger on it last night. I'll try it this morning since I have places to be. We're hoping the battery is the issue. The car is ten years old and has the original battery. Otherwise, I'll be getting chauffeured to the doctor's appointment in a 1T dually..... a little much in town. The Rav is much preferred.

Wasn't quite sure if he'd be sleeping or not....hopefully it doesn't get too bad.
Apparently the president rescinded after parliament shot it down and protests. I've moved the discussion Jae's thread on South Korean politics.

More snow in northern Ontario, so any of us who are lucky (?) enough to live near Lake Superior say those two words "lake effect" with fear, trepidation and grinding of teeth. I have a charitable event planned at our church this weekend, and need to do some set up. But I'm worried that a) it will be snowed out and b) no one will come. It's called 'shopping free' and looks like a white elephant sale, but all items are free for kids to take as gifts for family and friends. I've made cookies and will provide cookies and juice, and we can help wrap the gifts as well. We sure have been gifted a lot of nice items, including a brand new and full fishing tackle box.

Trust me, it ain't just Superior that does that. *glares Northwards at Lake Huron*

It appears to be over for now, though. I figure we got maybe 20-22" in c. 36 hours. Was pretty focussed though. People to the East and West of me got spared. Which is par for the course with these dang lake streamers.

10 years? New battery.

I fell last night dashing to the ladies when I came in. I broke nothing, but massive bruise on my fore-arm. Good discussion on Hope tonight. I've been voluntold I'm leading tomorrow's bible study, so better look at the verse options, at least.

The battery is the original. The car is ten years old. We'll get another Toyota battery if they last that long.

I hope you heal well Bette. That's gotta hurt.

Good morning! Happy midweek! Still dealing with snow, martial law in South Korea, cars and car batteries, taking a tumble, and all the other things that will pop up. We carry them to the Coffee Cart, where we gather in spirit for conversation, mutual support, community, and coffee, tea, and cinnamon buns. Come in when you have a chance, and join in the conversations! All is ready, all are most welcome.

Have a Costco membership? Often the best bang for buck for car batteries.

Our 4Runner was a weird size. Had to get that at Toyota or shoehorn in a different size.

Yeah. I advise against falling. Hope the bruising doesn't last. Make up a cool story if it does.

Yet, imagine the stuff that folk fall for ... maybe into! Why? Just to impress us with tease and temptation --- God's darker side?
ZIP happens even sometimes ...

My wife's trip to Waterloo (she's marking math competitions there) nearly ran afoul of car issues. The guy who was driving the group from London called while I was getting ready to head to the office after lunch to say his car was dead. I was betting on battery but haven't heard. They were going to use her car as a backup but it was still in the garage when I got home from work so I guess he got it fixed in time.

No new snow last night so I did not have to shovel. There are "periods of snow" in the forecast so may not be completely off the hook yet. But being able to get out of my driveway without wielding a shovel first was nice. Did end up widening the opening at the end of the driveway when I got home last night. Getting in a was a bit of a "threading the needle" exercise so I knocked a couple feet off the bank on one side to give myself more maneuvering room.
