I'm starting slow today. I take my meds from Monday to Thursday with Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. Today the drug is part sleeping pill. :sleep:

I have coffee now. Hopefully it will work its magic. If not, we'll, I don't have to go anywhere. I have two knitting projects for friends on the go. A second sock and a toque. Maybe I'll get one of those done today.

Talk of snow, bran muffins, lovely fruitcake, pumpkin doing out to feed the squirrels, Persian cuisine, and all the other stuff that will pop up today, we bring it with us to the Coffee Cart for chat, support, community building, and coffee, tea, muffins and fruitcake. The coffee is fresh, tea water near to boiling, and muffins still warm. Come on in and join the fun!

Still lots of pain. Will see my doctor this afternoon. Remnants of freezing rain under the rain left on our deck. No wind which is a treat.
 
Will the world suffer folly from lack or intelligence or lack of excitement? Remember there can be no medium and psych balance is also something disliked from either end of the display!

Thus deux MAC hyena ... a type of Jackal ... in the west these are best described as coyotes ... bird catchers!
 
Reading a bit on Binary Theory, or the concept that all is either right or wrong and no gray areas or twilight zones. I guess the twilight zone is over the horizon ...

The listened to Doug Ford finding his buddy Trump to be insulting ... between the white and black is there a line supporting red and yellow (hunger-anger an paranoia-Pie'doff)?

This is potentially very complex for those praying for simple leadership ... Ja' Zu's did you see that fly as JL Seagull? Maybe a corrupt Albatross ... to be hung around whose neck? Some birds do return to roost ... consider the day of the condor ... fixing up the carry 'on ... unnecessary baggage?

Should it all go so we have nothing to loose ... Canto Libra ...

Xrays showed no new fractures. (Showed old fractures in two vertebrae from fall in Samara) The prescribed meds do not seem to do enough. Cold packs are my go to treatments for elevated pain. B did intense cleaning of bathroom and found a pill that was left from when I slid down some stairs in Samara nearly 8 years ago. Took it about an hour ago and the general pain seems less than it was.

Hoping for more useful pain meds for you. Maybe your doc will prescribe more of those old pills that seem to work.
 
We are feeling good about our decision to cancel the medical appointment in the city for today. It would still be challenging to travel the roads in town as the plough hasn't made it to our neighbourhood yet. Reports say the highway is clear of snow but hidden in fog that is dense in parts. Locally the hoar frost is getting thicker on the pine trees. Good day to stay home.
 
Today is bone scan day. Thursday is CT day. Usually they've been scheduled on the same day. I'll ask for that for next time. This is the second time they haven't been on the same day. I'll ask for that to be requested for next time. Fingers crossed for the word stable on them.

They are booked by different clerks so I think they need to be alerted. It's really nice because you get a nuclear shot for the bone scan then have to come back for the actual scan in a couple hours. If there's a CT the same day, the person who does the shot just takes me over to the CT to get it done right away. It's nice because no eating for two hours before CT (abdominal). Hubby and I go for a meal, usually breakfast between then and when the scan is done.
