It is October 16 in Ontario and I still have viable tomatoes. The next 7 days will be unseasonably warm but tonight we dip below freezing.

I think I'm going to cover my tomatoes tonight. In the middle of freaking October. What the hell is going on.
 
@Northwind , i just noticed your signature is stationary nomad. It may have been for a while.

How is it to be relatively stationary when your plans were to be able to be nomadic?
Just thinking of you, and hoping that you are having a good day.
 
Good morning! Tomatoes in mid October, eggplants, real estate sold at long last, sacred trees, and all the other things that pop up today, we gather round the Coffee Cart to talk about it, give and receive moral support, and drink coffee and tea, along with some baked goodies. Looks like muffins are here. They are warm from the bakery, the tea water is hot, and coffee is fresh brewed. Come join in the conversations! All is ready, everyone welcome.

Stationary nomad ... a term to get a lift out of the one line type ... as you get to the Last Post the raised line collapses until anther post is discovered ... spontaneous rise like the angel of darkness becomes part of the morning ... then one is out of the abstract zone! Be aware reality is painful ... if you are too comfortable yu may miss the lesson provided on " lack of intelligence" that could arrive in different words as ignorant ... know thy metaphors as part of metaphysics ... a parallel domain ... mostly unseen and unconscious to those blind Tu Et ... divine tongues? I have doubts about what are high, low and flat out ... in a land layered with songs about things folk know little about. Hw is this possible? As many get older they realize how much more extends beyond them ... some are seized by the toile ... it explains the term synergistic ... there's more to it than what it adds up to ...

With all we appear deficient of or eliminated (teed off) does the word need to flow in an accelerating rate? Now consider how we come to that ... inconceivable by the seized by physical forms? Perhaps a passing vapor as a dark plasma ... apht h ought? Careful how you they are ordered ... waddles are complex weavings ... much of it virtue ... unknown ... given the exposure to strong urges to corruption of truth ... then it gets ugly ... normal (conflict between onto logic and episteme tic)? The debate between being and knowing! Some just are set ... not observant due to blind faith directives taken as protocol ... far too complex for some sites and sets ... self-destructive because of non-recognition!

Did you see it go? What was it? Mist; Freudian vapor ... plasma passé ... out there sans! So much to catch up to ... on? Get out of here they say ... rye virtue!
 
When getting deep into the mortal enigma ... do the outstanding (either side) get anxious about what you may find that's common in them?

It may even be self-destructive if you observe how it ... goes ... often without saying or being addressed ... thus out there for intelligent gnawing ... in Gnomon's' land ... whee folk?

It is a small matter in the larger picture ... exponents ... even exponential ... the myth inflates ... as if it were nothing ... separate from the absolute as an abstract ...

Unquestionably so, is declared by those hoo'd rather you not look ... back there are smudges and variable stains ... matters to improve upon ... as pinned onus! Lowered how they expound on how it is not our responsibility ... its all in the word and frequently misinformed by power!

Some alternate Lord declared that power corrupts yet still the extremes (poles) look for it ... I remain on the thin line as transparent medium ... few can get a perspective on me ... Not even Ja' ... that disagreeable Boi named Su ... even that boy declaring he knows everything ... doth warp time and space ... ad ole essence as endocrines out of balance? Some get through the stage some never do ...

Parallels in onto logic and epistemological Tee'n off ... that should get them in dissonant states of howls ... like Ba's Kerville ... Qu' erphs?

@Jae ... did you ever visit the thread I dedicated to your know 'N's? It is difficult ... you know hard to swallow matter ... science? Observed stuff that the blind faith will not observe ... seems to drive them into excited states ... like tempting bate ... Kath AI? Just words going down ..

Tomatoes in mid-October. I picked most of the big ones that might turn inside before the frost a couple of days ago. The plants themselves aren't looking great, but with a warm spell, there is a chance some of these can still make it.
 
One year when my kids were little, it was actually HOT on Halloween night. They came home from treat or treating sweating.

I only remember this happening once. Usually Halloween night is cold enough for a winter jacket.

It must have been the mid 90's but I don't remember the year.
 
Is there a special word for a person ordained to specialize in communication? Chi (Xi) a hot topic on the realms of the unknown ... Xi Zae?

I don't recall any hot years for Hallowe'en but definitely some cold ones, even recently. I remember LIttle M having to wear a warm coat under his costume at least once and having heavy wet snow on or just before Oct. 31. That would have been maybe 15-20 years ago.

When I was a kid, I remember having to bundle up for the Kitchener Oktoberfest Parade on Thanksgiving Day and I think I have been out in shorts every Thanksgiving weekend for the past few years, 5-6 at least.
 
I just came back from a church council meeting. It went well. My plans for the afternoon include hopefully reading more of the book I need to finish.
 
Halloween in 2020 was pretty mild. One year north of Edmonton I brought my tomato plants indoors on November 1. I covered them several nights before that along with pails of hot water. The peppers looked a bit sick today. Dahlias are done. Gives the tops time to die down so I can cut them down and bring the plants indoors for the winter.
 
I spent yesterday and today doing medical stuff. A trip to the city with a malfunctioning Cpap and a CNIB social/educational meet up yesterday. Phone calls today to organise the return of the Cpap and pick up of a new one. Long conversation with my respiratory therapist that told me to go to find a doctor with access to an x ray machine. Long wait at the ER to see a doctor -but the blood work and imaging was already done. Surprise - another round of antibiotic and prednisone! Another opportunity to wonder if the doctor read the x ray correctly! Time will tell.

Just got up after a refreshing nap, the sun is shining.
