Good morning. The coffee is delicious. I've brought a pot of Irish Breakfast tea since the ape needs an extra hit of caffeine today. It is hot and strong. As per protocol, there's hot water available for those who don't like such strong tea. :)

I had a good visit over lunch with a friend yesterday. We covered a lot of ground as we sat for a couple hours chatting. It was nice

I do not like sime aspects of Loblaws, but their PC dark chocolate with almonds bars and dark chocolate coated almonds are delicious and dairy free.

Raining here again. Parking lots and street parking are messy. The Canadian Tire parking lot yesterday had slushy ponds and muddy creeks. The drive from Ottawa to home Wednesday evening was challenging. Stopped twice to clear ice from the edges of the windshield. Up to 10 mm of freezing rain and rain predicted for today but supposed to end by 3 this afternoon. I used to love fruit but other than a fresh orange for breakfast find it hard to include them in my daily diet.

Sometimes I get the feeling my body is not passionate about being around for another 20 to 25 years though I will need at least another 18 years to see both grandchildren graduate. My mind wants to be around for another 30 years.

We had rain overnight after getting snow while we were away so things are kind of wet and slushy here, too. Sunny now, though.

Lots of rain here. Our snow is pretty much gone. I have a fun sweater to knit and books to read, so happy to amuse myself indoors.

Today 79 years ago, Auschwitz was liberated. This article of a visit there is in German, but my ipad suggests me to translate it, so I hope yours does, too.

Good morning! Weather, rain, chocolate almonds, knitting projects, all kinds of things to chat about. The coffee is ready, tea water boiling, baked goods laid out as well. All is ready, come in for a bit, sit, relax, eat and drink, and share in the conversation. Join in!

And here I was told that the soul, mind, psyche was eternal and should be locked away as sectarian types didn't wish to be familiar with ends ... so it goes!

Confinement or interred as entirely immersed ... indentured? Touth a dannan ... demons get it after an interim spot ... a period? Antes ...

Definitely worth celebrating!
For the Good!

Good morning. It's raining outside and we're cozy inside. The hospital called and I'm scheduled for an ultrasound on Tuesday. The health system can move quickly when it needs to. The ultrasound could also be followed by a biopsy.

Happy Spring!!!

10 sweet degrees Centigrade!

And in Canada's Minas Tirith, looks like the CN tower has a grey sock over it :3

I bet the rain sounds restful on your roof.
Good to hear that your health care team are keeping tabs on you/your imaging/your treatments. I hope all goes well for you on Tuesday.

Good morning! For the anniversary of liberation for Auschwitz, for medical appointments confirmed, for weather that isn't snowy, for all the other topics that arise, the Coffee Cart is ready. Coffee is fresh, tea water is near boiling, goodies are ready. Come on in when you have the chance, join the conversations and the community. All is ready, c'mon in!

8C here this morning. We'll be at 10 soon.

We have friends coming this way for a race or something (he's a runner) We'll be going to a favourite English style pub for dinner when they're done what they're doing. The Sunday special is roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. Yum. Almost as good as grandma's.

OMG YORKSHIRE PUDDING!!! MMM MMM
grew up with that
must be made with the roast beef drippins!

What is the pub name?

I've been to one near Oyster Bay. Really neat oot in the middle of nowhere. I really like those cluttered, sense full places. I think I had this cold dish with lots of cheeses
