Is stress like a dark networking between isolated, autonomous people that swear they got it all together because of a sense of overconfidence nature without experiencing the pain of the entire thing as it passes?

Some would even state that these dark spots are over the rainbow ... on the other's ide that is ... until it finally collapses. In logical fallacy, or cognizant dissonance would something fall out out of the flaming, or glowing example of how not to do it and yet with hubris ... will ever people stop, observe and listen to the quiet time? Then the storm starts in the we hours ... this as all darkness comes into focus as worry, bother, or ANi as she bustles to and fro'!

Yes, this TU goes on out of sight ... as a psi! Psychotics thus emerge believing they are the ultimate ... one of the optional angels?

I was hoping to have some freshly made apple strudel to share on the virtual snack table. However you will need to use LOTS of imagination. At coffee time I took the strudel out of the oven and not one but both, sons arrived. Apparently it was their time to eat like starved teenagers. No strudel left. Maybe make some more tomorrow!

Just back from doing errands and checking out different places to buy a new mattress. Mine is 16 years old and her time has come. I probably tried about 25- narrowed it down to 4. Now I have to sleep over it. My friend told me about her Douglas mattress and when I go visit on Christmas day, I need to check that out before making a decision next week. Sleep Country has a no tax sale, so that would make a difference.
Any recommendations? My back needs relatively soft…

We lost our power for a few hours tonight.

Someone in a small plane had to do a landing on an area road and clipped a power line
It sounds like they are ok, thank goodness

Good morning! Rainy and possibly some freezing rain for today in this area. Hoping weather is better where you are. Strudel would be good right now, hope the sons enjoyed it. Hope the right mattress can be found and installed; also the fabric store visits do seem to be more fun than mattress store visits... Thankful that power was restored, and seemingly no one in the plane was badly injured. For these and other topics of interest, the Coffee Cart is is open and ready to provide a place for your conversations, to find and offer support, and to drink virtual hot beverages and be together. All is ready, come on in.

Hmm, interested in your mattress analysis.

After this year i wonder about a mattress that can move into sitting positions

Also fabric stores are traps!

Shrouded???? Then many here are still without power or de light ... some not expected to get it until Xmas ... a mysterious Mass as missive? Just another pile of words about Turin and drifting through great spaces ... under a shroud of light appearing as aura! May arrive after a dark night ... a turn in the midst of the mystery ...

This legends and songs like: It's 4 in the Morning (and once more the donning ...) blinks!

I have some home made buttermilk pancakes with local blueberries here. I'll leave them under the warming lamp. There's butter and maple syrup to go with them. They're very yummy.

I'm not sure what today holds. Maybe some tidying. Certainly some knitting and most likely some reading. It was -1 this morning which is more seasonal.

Looks like the family is coming tomorrow, so just a regular Saturday here. Working on setting up a Linux VM as part of an investigation of whether I can wean myself off Windows down the road. Getting a bit of sick of MS for various reasons. Already switched to LibreOffice (free, open source office software) in personal life.

Lots of birdies in my yard today, from little tiny ones up to a good-sized bluejay who landed in the tree outside my home office not long ago.

Goodbye Castlegar!
Haven'y done this in DECADES!
Quite a trip down memory Aisle...
And the Goldie effect is all over! Glorious sun and warmth!

My cholesterol has been at the upper level and my doc is offering me medication.
It could well be an inherited thing. I want to try one more time to change my lifestyle and see if this helps. Thinking of going vegan or at least vegetarian in January.
See veganuary.com . Then I wondered if too much sugar could influence cholesterol and googling it seems to confirm that, too. I am definitely a sugar junkie. Don’t think I can change all at once.

Have you tried eating ginger?

Good morning! Buttermilk pancakes to birds, MS and Linux VM, cholesterol and ginger, and BC, and whatever else comes to mind, we gather round the Coffee Cart in spirit to chat about it, indulge in hot beverages, and deepen community. All are welcome, come on in!
