So I ripped back the sweater I was knitting, otherwise known as "frogged" (ripit ripit). I've started knitting it again and it looks much better. It will be better without pockets and I'm actually doing the right stitch this time.

This is the sweater. There will be no good or outside pockets. My yarn is dark green.

Must have been a stitch ripping day

I decided to take the pockets off a knit dress. Really unhappy with the way they were laying.

They will go back on, but with interfacing

Just goes to show how unimportant the church is in some circles.

Easter Monday is a strange day. The library was open and the walking track was closed.

Very sunny and getting warm. It will be a good afternoon for a long walk along the highway. Maybe I will get as far as town.

Church appears by time as a social thing ... when you consider all the antisocialists ... makes one wonder!

Then you see antisocialists invading church circles and that just breaks things up ... divining? It takes all kinds to make a sensitive thing ...

I've come to accept that undoing is a valid part of the creative process.

I've been overly undone by folk that despise me learning about things in oblivion ... the realm of powerful polity! Politicians will cover up just about everything ... much is blocked out and off the record! The essence of denial????

It may be a dark and mysterious faction given what little we are allowed in awareness, etc.

Good morning! Tuesday is here! For unmaking and remaking a knitted garment, for learning not to trust the kids' religious education to the school system, for the somewhat confusing status of Easter Monday as a holiday, we gather round the Coffee Cart to try to sort it all out. All are welcome, c'mon in.

Tuesday ... unbelievable if you listen to Morley! The stuff he presented about what's gone by and few noted ... explain dull, dense and thick to me again and how it effects the nebulae! Where's Jo*eL? Perhaps Jolene if you are of alter pronoun ... comes before de nun citation ... Shaman got it!

Good morning! How is everyone? The coffee is fresjh brewed, the tea water is hot, come on in and join us around the Coffee Cart. All is ready and waiting.

It's scan day today. I have to be at the hospital at 0745 hrs. :p Ah well, it means it will be done early in the day too. I get nuclear stuff injected first then they'll likely take me over to CT right then even though my appointment for that isn't for an hour or so. Then breakfast with Mr Northwind. The bone scan will be a couple hours after the injection then I'm done. Here's hoping for boring scans.

Well my scans are done. I'm enjoying a cup of coffee then I'll head back to my sister's. They were aiming to be back tonight but had an extra hour added to the trip because of avalanche control in a mountain pass. I may not see them until tomorrow. Either way, I can probably come back home tomorrow. Yay

wow - it's HOT here! A bit of a shock (pleasant tho) to the system. Still holding off gardening tho - frost is expected next week :-) It IS still only April.

I finished up & submitted our income taxes last night - yay! And pushed the submit button on a grant application that I've been working diligently on as well. So it was nice to be out in the sunshine today with none of that lurking in the background! I'm off to the Women's Group at The Compass tonight - should be a lovely walk there and home. I also went for a short stroll with a friend this afternoon - she's been an athlete for decades and she finds it really challenging to see how much strength & endurance she has lost in the past few months due to the stem cell transplant. Bit by bit she continues to recover.

Very warm here too. I went out for a walk this morning and ran some errands. I was definitely HOT when I arrived back home.

A neighbor told me she was getting the A/C ready because her dog doesn't tolerate the heat very well.

Snow flurries by next week I hear.

Snow flurries?!!! What????

Be careful in the sun
It can be surprisingly hot on a warm spring day. We are not usually thinking about sunburn this early.
