I saw this today on Everyday Knitter fb page - Tues is 'non knitting' projects :-) It's the prettiest granny square afghan I've seen! I love the colours in it & the use of different size squares. She called it Beach Walk Blanket & I see there's a pattern for it on Ravelry :-) Hope your planning is going well!

Yes - it's a lot and you have to pay for both the before & after assessments of the house! At least the 'after' isn't quite as costly. I was surprised how much it costs. A friend said she had one done years ago & was fascinated by all the unexpected places that air was coming into the house - most of which they filled on their own. She thought it was well worth doing.

I saw this today too. I think it was in the Kate at the Last Homely House group on FB. It's really pretty.

Good Morning! I woke up to a thunderstorm today. We have had heavy rain and wind go through along with some spectacular lightning.

It's kind of fun to watch the lightning while it's still dark. We have had both sheet and fork lightning this morning.
 
Wet here but I have not heard any thunder yet. Or slept through it. I slept pretty well last night. Oh well, it is Spring and April showers ya da ya da.

Back to fun and games at work. Never a dull moment these days, even if I could use a few.
 
We actually had robins here fairly early this year. Poor things were around in early March so had to handle all the ice and snow we got in the first half of the month. Plus all the usual winter-spring birds, of course.
 
We had a break in the weather and I got out for a nice walk. Back home now watching another heavy storm. The thunder is booming.

Yes it was quite a stormy display that woke me up. When I finally decided going back to sleep was futile & I climbed out of bed - the commotion ceased! I got out for a short walk with my friend this morning - good to breathe the fresh air! And now at lunch time it's thundering & raining again. But not much compared to what I see going thru north of us. And a friend is in Tremblant to ski for a few days - closed down today due to freezing rain!
