I recall visiting my sister one July. There were still some Christmas decorations in sight. In her defense I point out that she had four children under 9.
 
Gray day here. No undecorating yet for us! I enjoy the lights & decor, so I'll leave it a while longer. I think last year I took down the tree & house decor, but left the lighted garland on the mantle for quite a while longer - nice suble sparkle in the dreary days of winter. Prob will do that again.

@Mendalla - that sounds like a lovely New Year tradition of listening to the Philharmonic together.

Well...we are undecorated. Except for a few winter-theme items that I will keep up. I still have to put my Christmas mugs away...the first thing I pull out for the season, and the last thing I put away.
My son pays for a snow service for us for Christmas. And the fellow is a friend of my other son. Right now husband and oldest son are complaining like crazy about the job that has been done, but it is up to me to do the communicating. So....I have found a job WORSE than undecorating.
 
Goods morning! Letter writing campaigns, campfire gatherings, undecorating (which I hope to start today) and many other topics flow through our minds and into the conversation. accompanied by hot beverages. The coffee cart is ready, help yourself. And though there are still two days of Christmastide after today, we're packing the Christmas china away later today. Here' for their last hurrah this season, are the Christmas mugs.

And so, big guys' house is undecorated for the season. Decorations have made their way back to my house where appropriate, also tree. A heavy bin of birdseed has been delivered to his house (one of his roomies REALLY likes feeding critters). My 2nd best trifle dish is back home, along with some Xmas crackers for next year.
 
Here we're hoping for a Christmas celebration bigger than 2. We shall see, with gatherings rarely know if they will happen these days.

Phototherapy tech had covid over Christmas, seems to be hitting multiple people I knew who managed to avoid it for 3 years.
 
Covid-19 is ubiquitous. Some researchers are exploring the possibility it can hide for a while somewhere in the body. These researchers discovered microclots that seem to be related to some of the spike proteins. They found spike proteins seeking to appear in the blood days to weeks after the virus serms ti be gone. They did not know if the spike proteins could be stored in some tissues or if viable viruses could go into hiding and re-emerge. The microclots serm connected to myocarditis. This led me to wonder if some of the vaccines, especially Moderna, have the mRNA for the spike proteins that cause the microclots and trigger myocarditis.

If the virus can hide and re-emerge, then it will be extremely difficult to avoid the virus.

So much for my plan to live to at least 95.

Realize that this could go viral as a minor detail in the length of RNA/DNA studies ...

Thus the small things that overwhelm ... and create mortal distractions to the immortal that looks in from a spectrum of perspectives! That aye all over sensation ... sometimes considered alles as a well travelled item of greater discussion ... not for those completely distraught by small talk! Where does one hide such information? In the myth perhaps? Thus mythology is a great chaos ... countering normal chaos ...

Underthings were once known as unspeakables ... expected to be kept out of sight and in the dark ... curios? Then we got uncontrolled reproduction because the information was lost as deep intelligence. Right over the edge of the flat spot ... thus mesos!

Then there was Masada ... unexplainable places of rest?
 
I thought about decorating this year since we weren't going away until after Christmas but kind of backed off. Not sure why other than laziness. So no undecorating to do.

Clock is ticking down to some vacation time. Might be scarce for the next couple weeks but fear not, the ape shall return.

When all added up ... what really makes some sense of reason?

About 2000 years ago the illumination was buried as some force decided it was best if the demos did not know what the emperor was doing ...

Thus began the downfall that proves to be a fallacy to a sector!
