I can understand someone asking to double check as my PRN meds do not need to be filled as often, plus I have things on file like antibiotics if I think it's needed based on past experiences.
IT can be easy to forget about some of those, especially with a lot of meds on file.
Not the way to word that though! Someone working in a pharmacy should know better.

Ah, the late summer days (and daze) of bureaucracy, zucchini, and prescription refills. Never a dull moment. Irritating, aggravating and frustrating, but never dull. Anyway, hoping that all of it will be resolved ASAP.
The coffee cart is up and running, so c'mon in, have a hot beverage, find a comfy chair of sofa to sit and relax, and enjoy the company.

Imagine things flapping ... Luce E's thing to initiate something ... isn't that the advocate to break the silence?

Thus OHM'rs. homers and ogham to chink the vessel and keep it floating ... there are implications ...

We are in a park near my sister for almost two weeks. Today will be a quiet, introvert day for both of us. We'll have a busy couple of days tomorrow and Friday. It will be nice to be stationary for awhile. I have some projects to work on. There's also a cidery and a couple of wineries nearby that may need to be visited.

Good morning! Someone once compared mid-August to summer's Sunday. I can understand that. Even though it's still warm, hints of autumn are there. Not really sure it that's good or bad, but it is. Anyway, the coffee cart is ready, fresh coffee perked, and tea water a-boilin'. Come and get it while it's fresh.

Good morning! We are getting ready to take the train to La Malbaie. The rain started last evening with intermittent drizzle and is now intermittent rain. We will get to Malbaie a little after 11 this morning and return at 3:30 tomorrow afternoon. The rain is supposed to last all day today but tomorrow is supposed to be sunny with cloudy periods. We hope to take one of the hikes tomorrow morning that are at Malbaie.

Good morning. Yesterday was blessedly and feed the introvert day. We get a few TV stations with our antenna, most that play oldies. We enjoyed some visits to Mayberry, Green Acres, Gomer and also Matlock. I worked on a sock for a bit, and played games on my phone. I cleaned the bathroom. It was restorative. Today is scan day. I get my routine CT. Here's hoping for boring results.

Considering how hot it is right now, good. Nights cool off.

Good morning! Happy Friday! For train trips, visits, scans and other topics of import, the coffee cart is ready to offer space (and hot drinks) for your conversations and thoughts. All is ready.

Carry one off if desirous to don one as Juanee Ta ... the fringe Hot 'n Tots ...

Lots going on, some of which is worrisome and unpleasant...but...thought I'd share a typo from a friend: She sent big hugs when my husband got his diagnosis but did a typo that read: bug hugs. My husband loved it because he felt wrapped in a multi-armed hug. So, today, she and her husband come for a visit and will wrap him in real, rather than virtual, bug hugs.

Alas, Giphy does not seem to have any results for "bug hug" so a kitten hug will have to do.

Nice here but getting a bit warm again. Still below 30, though, so not as bad as at the end of July.

COVID symptoms seems to have completely abated for me. Maybe still coughing a bit more than is usual for allergy season, but no longer sure that ties back to the virus. However, I apparently have a hernia. I noticed it a while ago and wondered if that's what it was but primary care has now confirmed. Not symptomatic other than a noticeable bump in my lower abdomen so no rushing to fix it, just something to be mindful of for now and plan to deal with in the near future.

Good morning. The heat warnings for this area have been removed. Yay.

I'm copying this from what I wrote on FB:

Update on my OAS woes. I finally heard back from the call back request I made to Service Canada today. I made that request 10 days ago. They were supposed to respond in two to four. Thankfully the lady today was helpful. In the meantime, I have talked to Service Canada reps on the phone on Monday, yesterday and today. I've talked to two in person. I submitted both a paper application, then learned it won't be processed any quicker than if I'd mailed it. So, I submitted an online app as per the recommendation of the rep yesterday. I've contacted my MP who while helpful, couldn't do anything. The MP office and the rep yesterday both said the application can be sped up if I say this has caused hardship.

My conversation today was good. The woman confirmed that the processing can be sped up when this is causing hardship. She agreed with me when I said that when the computer causes problems we should not be punished. The end result is that I will start getting payments in 10 to 15 days and they will be retroactive to July.

It's good I have the professional skills I have and the genetic stubbornness.

Today I'm having lunch with my sister band a friend. It should be nice. I will also probably hear from my doctor re the scan yesterday. Fingers crossed for a boring scan
