Terms like 'early' and 'late' are really no help in communication unless you speak the same language. Anything after 7:00 am is late for me. I usually try to stay in bed until after 6:00, so before 6:00 would be early. Seelerman's internal clock is somewhat the same - today he was up at 5:30 and stayed up - enjoying the cool of the deck. Imagine our frustration when we agreed to travel with my nephew and his wife for two weeks on our first trip out west. Moving from one campsite to another - she told us "It will be a long drive tomorrow, with a couple of spectacular views where we will want to stop for a bit, so we'll want to get away early." And the next day around 10:00 am she gathered up the last of her possessions, went over to the washrooms to brush her teeth, loaded the bikes on top of the camper, and was ready to hit the road.

Good morning everyone!

You will be like two ships passing in the night, Pr. Jae.

It is a rainy, cloudy, windy morning. It rained all through the night. The mosquitos are horrendous in this damp, wet weather. Thinking of the folks down south who are getting too much rain.

Today is the start of a new week. A split week for some . . . today a work day, and tomorrow a day off. It is the last of June, and tomorrow marks the beginning of July. Tomorrow also marks we are halfway through the calendar year. Tonight there will be a fireworks display, and tomorrow field day activities for Canada Day.

How is your last day of June looking for you?

Good morning all, it is a beautiful morning in Vancouver. I haven't had much time to chat, choosing people over quiet this week so far.
I am thankful for the wondercafe friends that I have met and got to know in this room, and in the other forums here.

May you all enjoy your holiday weekend, which ever day you get off.

Peace to you all

Glad you're having a fun trip Pinga. Happy Canada Day

Today I had an amazing appointment. First try, no fiddling around with the needle. No pain. I didn't even get any corrections. Instead of telling me about how to reangle the nurse just asked if I felt like it looked good I said yes and just went with it. I didn't even have her pass me anything. I told Chemguy he should throw me a party. He side-eyed me and said I could figure out what I wanted for dinner lol

Hmm - I don't know about that Beloved. That remains to be seen I guess. We did enjoy breakfast together this morning - and are going shopping shortly after lunch. I may end up getting to see more of her. :)

Happy Canada Day Beloved! My family will have a small barbeque party tomorrow - hopefully with fireworks.

A slip and slide sounds like an awful lot of fun - especially on a hot summer day. All we need today is the slide - we have lots of water - it is falling from the heavens - it is not a hot summer day :). Kids out (lol-my adult children - they are still "kids) quading - both kids and quads will come back full of mud.

We did it last year and the kids had a blast. We bought the old slip and slide in 2006 for $10.

Hubby didn't batt an eye when I asked him out to buy a new one when he got his charcoal for the grill.

Do you care to share the ages of the boys, Boots - I'm just curious - trying to picture them on the slip and slide - you don't have to post their ages if you don't want to.
