Good morning! Happy Mothers' Day! Though we can't do the breakfast in bed thing, we do have the coffee cart up and running. As we think trailers and lunch, bikes and yardwork, and a myriad of other topics, let us gather round.

I had the return of a Mother's Day treat today. There's always been a breakfast at the church on Christian Family Sunday, and my daughter always joins me, then for the service afterwards. This ended for two years under the pandemic; now, breakfast wasn't back this year, but Erin joined me for church, then bought me a nice take-out lunch, and we sat on a picnic bench in a local park and had a feast and a great natter.
 
Good morning. I just caught up with the recent episodes of Flight Attendant and the season finale of Picard. I may do something productive today beyond the crochet shawl I'm working on.

Are the consequences for word play and messing with God? Imagine if one was to learn something against the biblical directive to avoid that tree.

In such cases would learning become like mythical ... and could one learn from the descent therein? Profound ... imagining something below the surface ... as if there was something Inuit!

Like going against Holy Roman Emperors could achieve escape ... Jesus did it ... became a spirited martyr and essence of illumination put down by dark powers ... naivete anthropomorphized? that's dull and numb ... nebulae as clouded learning?

Some say the pall make it more interesting as we observe the power falling from his horse ... in a cloud of dust ... dervish? Perhaps schism ...

Essence of au contraire ... opposing Eire in a sense? There's mores ... multiple more ... as the errors pile up ... generating a spark within ... if someone uncovers the mistake will the power explode? Bummer ... life as is ...

Hi...back from our time away. We stay at my son's place when we visit, so two nights there, lots of grandson time, and a good visit with son and daughter-in-law. And...oh yes, a party! My son made an awesome dinosaur cake for the 'cake smash'. Mmm...I liked our old tradition of eating a cake! Sometimes we put coins in it for something extra special on a birthday. And, let me tell you about that water table. We got to see it in action and it is the 'next level' of water tables. On cold days, you can get foam and bubbles instead of water that would create freezing cold hands. It was a great hit with all ages of kids at the party. Every now and then I find a good gift to buy.

KJ believed he was good then there was that man better than Jesus at Christianity ... that should serve Bishop Spong's story of why it has to change or die ... the proposed author of a greater Christianity doesn't even read the preliminaries ... he can't get over nothing ... sum total? it tis a dark abstract potentially deducted to the morel limits ... more L? It is yet to come ... somewhat obscured, etc. as we survive the powering phase ... then the descent!

Very sad day for me today. Let my kitty Atwood out yesterday after work; it was still sunny, she can't get out of the backyard, she likes to "sun herself" on the deck when it's warm. She didn't come in for supper, left the door open for her all night but she didn't come back in. Found her dead under the back porch this afternoon. She was only 12, not old for a cat at all. She was a lovely kitty, beautiful, lovely eyes, fun little voice, very affectionate.Atwood in the garden.jpg

She was a tortie point ragdoll. Ragdolls are a large, sweet-tempered, double-coated, long haired breed who tend towards Siamese/Oriental colour patterns. A tortie point means that her ears and tail and paws (and backbone to some extent; she wasn't show quality) were "tortoise shell" - orange and black, which in Siamese "points" translates to soft grey and cream overlaying a white background. Her eyes really were that bright and pale blue and she had a gentle affectionate little chirpy voice.

Good morning , Red and everybody. We are going to have warm temperatures today, up to 21 from 6 degrees now. My peas have finally started to break through the soil, so I constructed something to climb on yesterday. (Kinda one-and-a-half handedly). I will have my first physio appointment tomorrow and suggest to go back to work on modifications on Friday- though my right hand can not be used for much and I have the feeling that that fracture piece at the ulnar has not attached yet and moves if I bend my wrist too often…
But from what I hear from a coworker, I am really badly needed, even if I can do less than what I normally do.

My 91 year old neighbour is back from the hospital and now has a catheter in. Learning curve for his 92 year old wife to empty it- but thankfully they now have daily home care for him and meal prep. They are slowly coming to the conclusion that they should at least get their name on a list somewhere.
I am thinking of the home care workers and the price of gas- how many will look for other positions?
