An area northwest of Madrid had 36 cm of snow yesterday, the highest amount in 20 years. Wouldn’t think that of Spain at this time of the year. So you western Canadians, you are not alone.

Good morning, all. As we deal with family health issues, family birthdays, and assorted weather in many places (right now, in this area, we are receiving 'liquid sunshine'), let us gather round the coffee cart, for conversation and hot beverages. All is ready. Come and get it.

And god said there would be sigh 'nds mostly because of things lost and detested ... like intelligence well cared for?

Remember fallow the heart without a thought ... it is said to be an abstract concept! Well ... out of here and now ...

Have you noted how intelligent the world looks with the surroundings collapsing because of human forces? Ignore to previous comments if you will to support exclusion of dislikable matter... thus the immaterial creeps!

We were there (Madrid) just before Christmas many years ago and they were complaining about the snow they had (an amount that was like, Tuesday for us Canucks), so 36 cm in April must be mind-blowing for them. Even in Southern Ontario, that's pretty much unheard of. I remember only one snow day in April the whole time I was in school.

We are now back to April here, with showers falling as I drove to work this morning. And I am borderline for a migraine which just makes the point again that my migraines are probably weather-related to some degree.

I was hoping to have an indoor rain day today. The pharmacy called to say their software will be down tomorrow. They wondered if I could go in as a walk-in today for my booster.

@Mendalla -- I splurged. Have never had a luxury car. This one is. Having driven a 2011 Nissan Sentra basic model (not even an external temp gauge in dash), I am appreciating the drive.

The story I wrote about our family farm is now up on ruralontario.org. It is under the heading People, and is about a farm in four stages, with a fifth written in hope. Just letting you know in case anyone is interested in reading it.

I've been mentoring med students for a while now. At the end of the program, they create an art project and a reception is held. With COVID they have been making a website where they post them.

The projects are all under exhibition where they are broken down into 4 themes..

Good morning! For recovery from wedding weekends, for shots rec'd and scheduled, for family history preserved and passed on, we give thanks. The coffee cart is ready for you, come and get it!
