Room For All

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

A community where we discuss, share, and have some fun together. Join today and become a part of it!

A recent release was attributed to Putin regarding the difference between Cromwell and Stalin ... a sense of brute irony or rare corn on metaphor?

Few will make themselves cognizant of that but bitch as if they knew all comforting dispositions ... thus dispossessed!

The thinking devil departed and all they are left with is the emotional dynamics ... diabolical eh?

Good morning, all! As in this area we 'look forward' to all kinds of winter wonderweather over the next 36-48 hours, ending with a nice dump of snow, let us be patient, hoping spring isn't that far off. Let us also gather round the coffee cart to commiserate, converse and find community. All is ready/

Is con verse often off the track like con men if you don't know the entire spread of the metaphor leading to para more's? Some have no more' at tall ... just fractured ethics ... one depending on ends and the other on medium!

Expect hypo states as some bubbles of thought recess ... hypo verbos or just hyperbola as warped parabola of graphic content! Poor with no graphic content as in pseudepigraphy presented from a raised Pan, or other stone faced character reference ...

You did know that Pan once was used to put a face on it ... vis a vis? Thus the va and it go'd ... folks were badgered ... as to allow a beastie ... beasty ology followed as Zoe a' logic deviations ... dispossessed in essence ... all, everything will take a turn!

Thus said ... silence in the vas disbelief!

Last night I talked to my 12 year old grandson in Michigan on the phone. Some of the time, I thought he was speaking a different language! He is definitely pre-teen, and has his own slang or expressions that he shares with friends. It was interesting. He's still a good kid though, and said: "I can hardly wait until I go to your church again Grandma and light the Christ candle!"

@jimkenney12 don't think we are getting that much snow in the Brant area. We had a lot of rain through the night and today.
Our skating rink of a driveway -- most of it melted away .

Son & husband were strategizing on snow removal for tomorrow

I know, and I hate dealing with an elderly, but super active dog, during this. We went for a walk early this evening. There's ice under the snow. I kept on telling her to be careful, and her legs slipped right underneath her 4-5 times during a not-long walk.

Good morning, all! Happy Friday! Woke up to a winter wonderland here, as many have, occurs to me that we should be due for a snowball challenge. (Remember to use smooth gloves or mittens; snow sticks to fuzzy mittens, affecting control and speed). Anyway, the cofee cart is ready; come help yourself between snowball sessions.

How is vast corruption covered up ... by eternal darkness as a blanket case ...

Then we wonder how to envision the alternate side ... bottom side up?

In very good news, my son made it through major dental surgery (long story, but total extraction of all his teeth, due to an awful combination of circumstances, including really unfortunate genetics). The lovely retired social worker who is "second mother" to a raft of marginalized (mental health, housing instability) inhabitants on Salt Spring messaged me last night to assure me that all had gone well, and he called me today. When I razzed him about "talking Lynne's ear off" last night, his quick retort was "these S's aren't going to firm themselves up"...

Glad to hear he's doing well. Too bad the distance doesn't allow for an easy way to send a care package of appropriate foods.

However, I'm planning on an Easter package (those wonderful Canada Post one-price boxes) that will include his fancy Easter candy, and I picked chocolate with a super smooth peanut butter filling (I'm still hoping that Grenfel United will make homemade eggs this year and I'll include one of those, too; an uber-sweet fondant, egg coloured, covered by equally sweet milk chocolate; my children have always loved them; they make my teeth ache thinking of them). And some extra cash to contribute to the denture fund.

I am so grateful for the way that technology has allowed us to stay connected (it's also important with my oldest son in Oz). We're in the habit of Facetime meals together on special occasions now, and that's really great. He's got some Ensure, and is tolerating the mocha flavoured protein powder he's using right now.

It's easier to have your children scattered across the globe these days.

Is there any funding in BC to pay for dentures in these cases?

His voluntary helper is trying to source some more funds; the denturist has offered them completely at cost and with a payment plan. BC Health came up with something, I think. Dental health is very uneven in Canada; it, and pharmacare, need to be covered by the Canada Health Act, in the same way as they are in the UK's NHS.

The problem with losing your teeth at such a young age, relatively (he's only 36), is that with dentures, you tend to gradually lose jaw mass, which can turn into a problem 20-30 years later. Implants are way better at preserving natural jaw mass, but they are prohibitively expensive. I discovered that upon replacing a single tooth. A bridge was half covered by my insurance, an implant entailed twice as many appointments, and was twice the price of the bridge and and was only a quarter covered...
