manual transmission, a rarer find today.
Even traditional automatics are vanishing in favour of CVT and dual-clutch with paddle shifters. Never learned to drive stick so don't really miss it and CVT is now as good as or better than, at least for the kind of cars I drive, a traditional automatic.

I had the best car ever for a few years (11 or so; she was condemned in her 20th year). A five-speed Honda Prelude. It was absolutely the funnest car to drive, EVER, and no-one ever beat me off a changed light. The year it was built, it got the best ever 0-60 speed. I loved that car to death.

And the last year with the flippy headlights. And, the sunroof leaked like a seive. I swear cars had more personality back then....

I had a Prelude with flippy lights too. It was an awesome car. I t-boned someone who pulled out in front of me with it. It handled it well and was back on the road in no time. I was sure glad it had cruise control.

Good morning! As we swap old car stories (The first car I drove, and my favourite, was a '65 Rambler Classic 770) discuss road conditions in various places, reactions to flu shots, etc etc, let us pause in our sojournings for conversation and hot beverages. The coffee cart is up. and running. Enjoy.

Oh yes, Happy All Saints' Day

No discussion here ... it is all wrote ... some say rot! They don't like anything writ ... goes against something innate!

The innermost thing? Keep it contained it might be a reptilian item ... something the genes drug along with NU creations ... fresh thought?

Imagine the tempest ... 2 belles crashing? Then the 3rd ... and all was silent so we could read into the mystery that is eternal ... some say God and wish not to know that much!

The quest is on ... Shadows break up and scatter ...

It is like reading a broken mind ... darker 'n elle ah! That black Horse theory ... might-ve been a cat ... catharsis? Will it wash?

Ask me not, I don't know the authorities tell us knowledge is evil and look what it did to the leaders when they lost it ... apoplexy is one definition!

Could be de nut 'n the night! Out of the tree a' corn? Oaky ... these two fall ... takes more time ...

Anyone get burned by the Bell Mobility time change error? Apparently, some Bell smartphones changed this past weekend rather than next weekend. I am on Telus and all was well, but the local CBC host has been tweeting about it.

Regular work week this week. Supposed to be attending a virtual Microsoft event but been too busy to plan an agenda so not sure if I will bother. It's free so no loss if I back out. May try to catch the keynote tomorrow at least to see if Satya Nadella has any big announcements up his sleeve.

Can great powers screw up?

It seems to be endemic and poorly understood ...

I served breakfast to 2 original code makers for MS (prior to Y2K) and they stated that MS had grown too big to expect a rational being to control ...

The grandest of emotions in a virtual image? As "incarnate" it may appear as it isn't so ...

Periodically these things fall upon us as onus ... our responsibility as a collective (denied social order)! Words of strange and alien matter ... don't matter? Thus anti matter ... beyond that we don't know ...

Sometimes we have to observe differently ... from a step or two beyond the subjective case ... cracks me up! Is that objectionable or objective?

Perhaps eruptive ...

Oof I'm Halloween hungover today and didn't have any alcohol or chocolates yesterday. Decorating, taking things down, being out in the cold (although was mostly around the freezing mark, so not bad), walking with the kids, etc. is a bit rough on the body.

Good morn, all! A gentle reminder for most of us to set our clocks back an hour this weekend. If you're on Bell Mobility, Bell has taken care of this for you already. Anywho, the coffee cart is ready to provide your virtual hot beverage needs of all kinds. Enjoy.

One has to get to jump on time to see where it is going ... thus fast rides in the dark ... as we can't observe what is coming ahead of us ... due to time fractures! Imagine riding a Moon Beam as more reflective and less heated ... different than getting burned by Ra?

In church you can be incinerated for such questionability ... yet politicians do by loss and laws ... they didn't get it!

Good morning. The days are cooler and today is overcast. I'm looking forward to crafting with friends this afternoon.

To be fair, it depends what you are doing with your retirement. If you're taking classes or joining teams or whatever, then time still matters.

Yes, my week is "anchored" by my Tuesday night Progressive Group and my Wednesday morning bible study, and Sunday morning (although that's a bit more flexible now that I can watch it on Youtube later if I've made Sunday morning plans).

Hate to say it, but those white flakes flying around when I was on my walk after work weren't my dandruff. Sigh. Very light flurries, but flurries nonetheless.
