Good morning, all! Sorry to hear about not being able to connect. But the travels and scenery are enchanting. Let us gather in spirit around the coffee cart foe hot beverages of many kinds, which are ready. Help yourself.

The coffee cart has a "foe"? What's that? The beer wagon??

Drinking Irish Breakfast this morning and debating going for a bike ride. Will be too hot this afternoon so probably leaving soon. Already low twenties and muggy out here.

Lovely view, @Northwind .

Did my bike ride early (left about 9:30am) and it was already pretty muggy. Still, got in a good ride. Just road biking around the neighbourhood, nothing fancy. There's some good hills to climb so I actually probably get more exercise on a local road ride than on some of my trail routes.

It's horrible here. I'm sitting quite still, except for my fingers, and I'm sweating like a pig. And it makes me feel itchier. *grump over*

A little bird tells me it's LuceND's birthday today, so I've brought a cake - be careful, it's got special butter in it.

Hmm. The bruschetta sounds safe. "Special butter" seems a bit ... not me, especially given the source. :giggle:

Yeah, it has been miserably humid here, too. Had a storm rip through an hour or so ago, but that only brought the temp down a bit. Humidity remains high.

Went to a farm-store today with a friend. Was a bit weird, being in someone else's vehicle. It was nice though too. I knew her household is vaccinated and trust her to disclose if she's feeling unwell. The store was great and it was us and 2 staff members inside.
Will definitely keep it in mind for veggies in the future!

Greetings from near Sundre, AB. This is a pretty part of the country. The foothills are visible from here. We're here until Sunday then head west from there. We're looking at our route options now as part of our planning.

Good morning. This is our last day in a beautiful part of the world. Unfortunately, @KayTheCurler and I were unable to connect. So close yet still so far away.

Indeed - so close but yet so far. It was a sad day for me. I find it quite frustrating to rely on others to drive me those miles that lead to an interesting place or meeting! My guy was wanting to help but couldn't subject his sore back to that much car time. Hope you saw at least a wee bit of the northern beauty!

We loved our time in northern SK. Our friends showed us the SK hospitality which is second to none. We planned two weeks to get home this trip. We were talking and thinking of planning two weeks to get to Ontario next year. We'll have to put you on the itinerary

Good morning, all! Welcome to Friday. A belated Happy Birthday to LuceNDS, a wish for a pleasant campsite stay to Northwind, a thanks for finding a source of fresh veggies, and a wondering about 'special butter'... Anyway, the coffee cart is ready, with all sorts of hot beverages, and maybe a few assorted baked goodies. Enjoy.

And yesterday some really sous the horizon, mis understood bits of information came to light!

As some agent said; not for many folks to know as often they'd rather not! Such is the nature of that great abyss tucked away in the sol ...

It is vicious about being unseen ... shamed by how people observe rye virtue ... (response?)

Often none at all ... just darkness like a literary device ...

Good morning. It was very quiet last night except for the occasional yelps and cries from the nearby coyote choir in the neighbourhood. It was quite cool to hear them.

Rare photo of Northwind's noisy friends. ;)

Could be the pacifist bird ... out there doing nothing and yet the coyote's plans fail ... isolationist fallacy as it all goes down! Autonomist demos ... nothing to wit!

Good morn, all! The coffee cart is up and running, help yourself.

I always marveled at the great service Wile E. Coyote got from Acme. I always wanted one of these huge elastic bands that he seemed to have in plentiful supply....

Yeah I wish IT suppliers were as reliable as old Acme. At work, we are still waiting on some gear we ordered in the spring (to be fair, part of the problem is the same chip shortage that has been messing with the car industry).
And giant slingshots would be an interesting, if painful, carbon-free method of travel.o_O
