And fifth wheel
The truck seems to show it more, though. Probably because of the colour. When I had a white car and a red car, they could be equally dirty but the red seemed to show it more. Both current cars are black so about the same.

Any suggestions how to beat ants coming inside? I usually make a mix of Borax and icing sugar and pit it around the perimeter of the house. That works for a while. But I am not sure if they haven’t moved into the wall now.
I had read on the internet that they don’t like peppermint, so I planter peppermint along the wall- other than it taking over the yard, it doesn’t work. They live happily among it. A friend uses cinnamon inside. That just made them move a foot over to the side.

Why the edges of the pages are gilded in some books of stacked pages? May turn out like a cropped horse ... numinous carrier?

May assist those hoarse voices in the aural traditions ... these be out and about us! Spooky in essence ... yet the populace as demographics do like mystery ... and things causing them to loose sense of logic ... fallacy of intellect? Tis an odd thing requiring a depth of ode to it ... literary device?

Good morning, folks! The morning sun has risen, revealing dirty vehicles, annoying ants (I've heard cayenne pepper might work, never tried it, though), gilded pages, and other such life experiences. Let us join around the coffee cart, and commiserate, support, suggest, joke, etc.

Did I hear distant laughter ... or was that some poor sol laying on the floor in the limelight's drumming something in ...

Bottom lines?

One night, I went into the kitchen, and spotted an ant.
An hour later, I went back in and srelized there were a dozen or so ants.
I cleaned everything, and killed ants.
I then went back in an hour later, and another 20 or so.
I got out the spray and sprayed where i thought they might be coming in, sterlized everything, and went wild.
Saw one the next day.
My husband pulled out the stove, and though there weren't any there, we also did a huge clean, wipe down, and spray.
Haven't seen any since in the kitchen.

Not sure what was happening, but, I don't like ants.

We tend to get them in the house for a few weeks in spring, sort of May to early June. Then that's it, back to spiders and the odd fly. Got wasps over the front door right now but they aren't getting in the house.

Went canoeing today for the first time in a few years, plus a short hike. All in all a nice day, even I'm a bit stiff tonight. As I remarked in Last Post, canoeing uses a rather different set of muscles than cycling.

Never really had a problem with ants indoors, but when I showed up to my parents before they arrived home from a trip I would see the occasional ant, small species following a path. They got a bit more frequent and when my parents showed up they tried to blame me - they seemed to be coming up from a breakfast nook wall.

Never figured out where they were going. The floor was cleaned and part of the path was lost. Wiped down with vinegar and that seemed to wipe out the path that had them coming in to begin with.

Good morning, all! The lounge here around the coffee cart is ant free. (Uncles may be more questionable...) Anyway, the cart is up snd running for theday. Help yourself.
